Stayed Jul 16, 2025Great room /location / property. Lee has a beautiful home & this is nicer than any hotel room available. It does not have a full kitchen (nor is that advertised), but the mini fridge & microwave are adequate for shorter stays. We stayed 3 nights & would certainly return for same amount of time in future. Grounds are meticulously manicured & boardwalk to Sound is equally inviting for sunsets or just to watch the kiters!

Stayed Sep 20, 2024We enjoyed being close to REAL Water Sports and the Salvo Day Use area - for some kiting and canoeing. The bedroom is small but the bathroom is large. Lee also has an outdoor shower, which is nice after coming home wet and sandy. The kitchenette is really just a mini-fridge, microwave, and single cup Keurig in the closet - adequate for a morning cup and to store your beer or leftovers, but don't plan to make yourself breakfast here. You can get breakfast real close by at Mirro's, or grab a sandwich at the Waves Market. Plenty of stuff around. Everything is close.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024Stayed here for the weekend to relax and celebrate my husband's birthday. The location is safe and quiet, the room we were in was clean and the bed was comfortable (we love the bathroom's his and hers sink) Check in and check out was a breeze, will definitely recommend this place to friends and family! Thank you for having us, we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jun 21, 2024Excellent for people looking to get away for the weekend or week. I would have stayed and hung out for easily 6 days. When you want to have easy access to anything Hatteras, this is definitely a must.

Stayed May 30, 2024My wife and I enjoyed our stay! Loved everything about it, except the bed situation. Bed was comfortable, but the ceiling fan was not very helpful with the top mattress blocking it. We would definitely stay again. Great value and location.
