Great stay overall! Super comfty beds, bathroom and stay. Recently refurbished and had everything we needed. Also, our host was very nice and replied quickly. It's in a residential/quiet neighborhood, but a great coffee) restaurant close buy and some neighborhood stores. Also it is close to busier neighborhoods and downtown.

This was a good choice for us. We were visiting family about a half block away so that was perfect. Very clean and well maintained.Only issue was communication. We were there over x’mass and I suspect the owners were out of town. There was an annoying issue that they could not deal with and I had to fix it myself. Can’t imagine that happens very often.

Loved the property and location. Short rides to everywhere we needed to go. Quiet neighborhood, great neighbors. Lovely area. Would stay here again next time I’m in the area. The property had everything we needed for a quiet and easy stay. Thanks for a great stay!

Just for this being a house type place it was odd there being no trash cans in the bathrooms, no hair dryer in the bathroom, the one bedroom being in the front door area, no dishwashing pods or soap(which was later brought) The smoke alarm kept going off. Just wish it was more stocked for people staying a couple nights.

Really enjoyed the stay here for work, was close to great food, the capitol, and everything else we needed. Just a short walk to a Capitol Bike Share dock, so it was a breeze to get anywhere we needed!

This was my first time bringing my family down to DC and this property was a little gem. Beautiful bathrooms and kitchen. The tv in the living room was a big hit. And the beds were comfy. We had a small problem with the AC but the owner was very responsive and it was fixed quickly. There was a lovely neighbor upstairs who offered her help if we needed it. My family was very happy.

The house was in pristine condition and very comfortable. It's located in a historic neighborhood, so it was fun to just walk around. We would definitely return. Check out the great sneaker shop nearby, City Gear DC.

Traveled with my husband and a single friend to DC in mid-September. This VRBO rental met our needs pretty well. The unit was spotlessly clean, the updated bathroom and half-bath were perfect for the 3 of us; spacious shower in the hall bath was great. No tub, but we don’t need one. The kitchen could have been a little better appointed and there was no hair dryer, but the owner was open to suggestions for improvement. The unit is within walking distance to public transportation, a couple of good restaurants and a well-stocked liquor store.

The place was fine - reasonably priced. Though there was a constant odor of mould, especially in the front bedroom and living room. One of the air conditioning units which was dripping water developed black mould behind the couch. We stayed there for six weeks and asked for a vacuum cleaner or a mop - but this was not provided. Three weeks after the stay they contacted us with a charge of $400 for stained towels and apparently scratches all over a wall - which we absolutely dispute. They haven't provided photos of this.

The place served its purpose and overall my friend and I had a good experience staying here. However, it was weird that the one bedroom was right as soon as you walked in the front door with windows on the street and alley. While we had no incidents, it just felt a bit exposed and the streetlights were super bright through the edges of the curtains at night. That room was also extremely extremely humid to the point that the bedding felt damp. There were also tons of bugs - moths, spiders, a few centipedes here and there that we had to kill. There is also no parking pass despite the listing saying there is. The street parking says you can only park for 2 hours at a time during the day and the alley behind the house had a no parking sign and someone else parked behind the house where we were told we could possibly park. It ended up being fine to park in the alley but it was confusing. Couches in the living area were quite uncomfortable and it was a bit annoying to have to take our own trash out even though there’s fees included that probably cover the maids. Lastly, the host who was messaging back and forth seemed to be an AI bot. Overall just felt like a very impersonal experience and despite no major issues, just a cold feeling stay. Probably wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.
