Beautiful loft located in the heart of York. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would have to love to stay longer and would definetly book again.

As a family of 2 adults and 3 children of 10, 8 and 4 years old, we found this to be a fantastic and ideally located property for a 2 night stay. It is very clean, very comfortable and very modern and well-appointed. Being right in the centre of the city, it was perfectly located, both for walking to from the station as well as exploring. The arrival instructions for picking up the key, etc, were clear and easy and on arrival we found we had a good supply of tea, milk, biscuits, cakes, cereals, etc which was lovely to arrive to. The host Sharon was very helpful and welcoming and the property itself was a delight to stay in with plenty room for the 5 of us. There are a host of good restaurants and bars nearby as well as shops for groceries, coffees, pastries, etc - it is also within minutes walking of alot of the main tourist attractions as well. We would not hesitate to stay here again when visiting York.

We arrived after a long care journey and to our relief found the apartment to be as described - actually, it was so much better! The owner have spared no expense in making this centrally located, spacious, and well-appointed holiday apartment the perfect city get away. The beds were very comfortable, as were the lounge chairs. Everything worked and were in excellent condition. The views from the windows reminded us of the roof tops in Mary Poppins, with the York Minister replacing London's St Paul's on the near skyline. All in all a real find - thank you to Sharon and Dave Marshall - we will return!

We had a family weekend break to York . Our check in instructions and parking requests were clear and the apartment was easy to locate. We found it well stocked and welcoming , some nice touches of Tea/Coffee/Milk etc which a lot of self catering accommodation fail to provide you with these days. It was very comfortable although I would say that the stairs up to the upstairs loft bedroom are not for the faint hearted or if you are prone to wanting to get up in the night!. The location is brilliant and you are surrounded by excellent restaurants and shops. Well worth a visit to York , and I would definately stay at the Loft again.

My family loved our time in York. The property was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed the thoughtful touches like the milk, tea, and cookies. The location can't be beat. I especially enjoyed the gorgeous view from the windows!

We enjoyed our time in York. Our accommodations allowed us to easily walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Our host made us feel right at home with thoughtful amenities.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, light and airy looking out over rooftops. So central yet peaceful and calm! Lovely cafe a few yards down the alleyway. Our check-in wasn't straightforward as I was missing some instructions from VRBO for some reason but Sharon was on the end of the phone so it was easy in the end!Highly recommend this apartment.Would love to return

Wonderful flat in an incredible location! All the delights of York are right outside your door! Clean, comfortable, well equipped, love the big windows. Sharon is very responsive and generous - really grateful to her. Very comfortable for 4 adults based on kitchen table and couches. We managed fine with 5. Hope we can stay again!

Wonderful time away to enjoy the Christmas market in York, Great location and a good place to stay.

The apartment is lovely unfortunately it was not cleaned before us. The sheets had dark black hair and stains on them. Shower stall had long black hair in it. Fortunately we found clean sheets and had to change the bed after arriving. Other than being not clean the place was very nice and the manager was helpful.

We arrived on the Friday evening as we were were attending a family wedding on the Saturday. The apartment was gorgeous and the little welcoming touches (tea/coffee/milk/biscuits etc) provided by Sharon and David made it even more enjoyable. Everything to make our stay comfortable was provided.

The loft apartment was the perfect base for our weekend in York. Plenty of space for 5 adults. Really comfy beds, little touches from host were a lovely, great view across the city skyline. Highly recommend .

We stayed at this property for 2 nights while visiting York as a stop over between wrapping up a week in Scotland and finishing our U.K. visit with 3 nights in London. The condo was centrally located and convenient to restaurants and an active street with an open air market and other fund activities. We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in York.
