Modern apartment of 75 m2 at Lake Balaton in Keszthely

We had a great and relaxing holiday. The apartment and the location was perfect for a small family with a toddler. We got everything we needed; highchair, cot, bathtub, air-conditioning and great weather. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and very well looked after. The owners were lovely and they made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. We only can recommend to anyone, we'll be back again soon.

A wonderful place and an apartement so nice in the house which is very near the lake.Bikes are at arrangement and allow to go in two minutes towards the closest markets. The welcome is perfect and the rent has all the desired comfort. The owner speaks french and is of a rare kindness. This stay was perfect.

Lovely apartment in keszthely, close walking access to the beach and restaurants, as well as the downtown walking streets and the Castle. Agnes and Jeno were so helpful and kind, always there to help with whatever we needed. This was the second time we have stayed there and came back as it was the perfect place to stay. It has everything you need for a week stay or more. The apartment in clean and very well laid out. I love the backyard and the balcony. We were also able to do our laundry there. I wish I could give more than a 5/5, it is the perfect apartment. It is nice a quiet at night, but there is tons to do around town, and around the lake. We LOVE the Libas Strand, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. The house has a locked gate which keeps your car safe, and we felt so at home here. Check out the Tompas and Jobarat restaurants while you are there.

This apt. is ideal for anybody wishing to enjoy a holiday at Lake Balaton. It is well situated, very close a delightful beach and beside the cycle paths that circle the lake. Since Agnes provides bicycles for the use of her guests, this is perfect. You can have a swim and cycle before breakfast if you wish. The apt is comfortable and well equipped.Both bedrooms lead onto a generous sized south facing balcony, a really lovely place to relax and enjoy the sun. Agnes is a gracious host and will give you all the information necessary. Make sure to take up her recommendation for the nearby japanese restaurant, an all you can eat buffet for 10euro, serving the best of fresh fish and salads......excellent! We really enjoyed our stay. The availability of bikes was a wonderful bonus. I recommend it highly, especially a visit to Agnes' Marzipan Museum. We could hardly believe the artistry involved in their cake-making....and they taste wonderful! So, a great base from which to explore Lake Balaton!

A home away from home with all the comforts of home and with Agnes being the best tour guide sharing so much information about the history, the culture and being so generous with her time. It was a true pleasure for us to travel half way around the world to meet Agnes and her family and stay in this corner of Hungary. We cycled every day and always found great routes. To come back here would be a pleasure and anyone lucky enough to enjoy this accommodation would always want to come back again.

This was a well appointed and well cared for accommodation with a proprietor who was attentive to the needs of guests. She provided helpful advice and support to enable guests to get the most out of local facilities and their stay in the region. First class!

The apartment was brand new, very clean. It was only 20 minute taxi from balaton airport (SOB), and two minute bike to the lake (bikes included with the flat). All amenities were there and there is a beautiful balcony to relax on. The apartment is only a fifteen minute bike ride to Heviz the thermal lake. Agnes the host was EXCEEDINGLY helpful, providing us with all the tourist information and making any telephone enquires that required one to speak Hungarian. The rest of her family is equally as friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment.
