Stayed Jan 8, 2026We loved this stay! Beautiful and clean and well designed layout. We would love to stay here again for the awesome location too!The description is very accurate but I would emphasize that the steps to get up to the property are challenging and a bit steep. Also the movements of the family on the upper floor are easily heard through the ceiling. These were not deal breakers for us, and the owner has supplied ear plugs and a white noise machine in each bedroom. Owners are very responsive! Great find!

Stayed Apr 20, 2025What an adorable little apartment! Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed to make our stay convenient with two teens and a preteen. Love the neighborhood and proximity to the zoo and rock creek park. We drove into DC each day to explore and had no trouble with parking in the city or finding a spot in front of the apartment when we returned. Would definitely return in the future!

Stayed Mar 15, 2025Return trip from last year. Cait and Ian are gracious hosts. The location is excellent the property is cozy, clean and very welcoming. Be sure and check out Haydee’s up the road for live music and great food. Great place to stay.

Stayed Apr 13, 2024Beautiful modern garden apartment perfect for our family's trip to DC (with two kids ages 9 and 13). Just steps from the zoo, 20 min walk to metro, lovely landscaped terrace for morning coffee or sunset cocktail. Served as a great home base for our weeklong trip. Great food options nearby include Purple Patch, 2 Amys pizza, and Mount Desert Island ice cream.
