MISSION BEACH 2 BDRM, WITH PARKING in the HEART OF MISSION BEACH + MISSION BAY!!

Really phenomenal place for me and my two teens. Such a short walk to the beach (cross the street and a short alley and you are there), plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Clean place and super responsive host (replied within minutes to all queries). Coffee shop downstairs opens at 4:30a for you early risers. Large convenience store also 5 feet away for anything you need. Really no critical feedback at all, it was pretty much perfect for our three night getaway!

Carl's place is very quaint and cozy. The location is great as it is within walking distance to the beach, bay, restaurants, etc. It is also an easy drive to many different places. The beds were very comfy and we had everything we needed for our three nights there. The Better Buzz coffee shop downstairs was such a nice, added bonus. I will mention that is does come with one small parking spot. Parking in San Diego is a challenge anywhere so this was a nice bonus. We rented a small Nissan Kick and it was just the right size. Much bigger than that, may not work.

Had a great trip! Can’t beat the location and house had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Great place and was very convenient to everything. The parking spot is small so just make sure you rent a smaller car.

Great location between the bay and ocean front. Close to restaurants, bars and shopping too. Lastly, the pics are as advertised and beds were extremely comfortable.

Worked great for our young family of 4. Proximity to beach was a plus with young ones.

Our family came to visit one of our daughters who attend USD. She was in the crew classic and this was the perfect location for that. The condo was clean, cute decor and well stocked.

2 beds 1 bath above a coffee shop in Mission Beach. Clean, safe. What else could you ask for?The Hub right next door is super convenient, great beer and wine selection, very legit on that front. Beach is quiet as the public parking is not super close. Very short walk to the beach. Easy to run back if something was forgotten. If you are cool with 1 bathroom... I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the space of this two-bedroom apartment, above a coffee shop. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and two blocks in the other direction to the bay. Best of all, it's right on a bus line. We were very happy to be car-less in San Diego, using buses and Lyfts was both cheaper and less stressful than renting and driving a car.

This condo was in a wonderful location in Mission Bay. A short walk to the beach or to the bay, and just above a nice coffee shop. The check-in was super easy, and Carl, the host, was very responsive. The kitchen was well-stocked with dished and spices. The best thing though, was the extremely comfortable bed in the master bedroom. We even asked Carl for the model! A couple things to note: 1. the washing machine is VERY loud 2. the parking space is very small. Overall, I would actually give this place a 4.8, just because of the washer and the parking space, however, I would absolutely stay here agasin!

We had a really nice time. We wanted to spend more time at the beach but Mission Bay was covered in fog the whole time. Also strong winds. We went to SeaWorld, Balboa Island, went on a trolly tour. Went to Old Town, and Little Italy. We packed in alot in 5 days. ds

Nice condo very well stocked with all we needed. we only stayed two nights. check out was 10 AM. I think that is too early. I would stay here again.

Parking spot is tight as described. Shut the windows, the coffee shop is restocked daily at 4am:)

This place was perfect for our family of 4 that wanted to be close to the beach! The owner had everything we needed, the place was clean, check in was easy and responses to messages were quick. Really a great place and I would stay again!

We loved Carl’s place! The location is perfect, it’s quiet, comfortable and well maintained. The air conditioner units were key. We will definitely be back!

Overall my family had a great stay at this condo. You cant ask for a better location just a block away from the bay or ocean. We spent the majority of our time on the bay since the calm water was easier for my 3 year old and she got good use out of the sand toys that were available in the condo. The only minor issues we had were ther floors were a bit dirty (needed to be mopped) and there were a lot of drain flies the first day we arrived, which was fixed by pouring hot water down the kitchen drains. Aside from this, everything was great and Carl is a great host. Very acommodating and genuinely wants you to have a nice stay. 5 stars and would stay again. Thanks Carl

We had a wonderful time. The home was clean and spacious for our family of 5. Having a parking spot was a huge plus. About a 2 minute walk to the beach or bay. Plenty of food and drink options close by! Thank you carl for being an excellent host!
