Stayed May 16, 2025Really easy and fast communication, checking in and out was a breeze. Neighborhood felt safe, quiet and very close to shops, restaurants and incline(walking distance). Full kitchen, small bathroom but good hot water and decent pressure. Double bed upstairs with a swamp cooler which made the room very comfortable to sleep on a hot humid day in May. Another room had a fan and fouton/turndel (we didn't use) and main level had a queen bed. There was a fan in the living room that I used in the main level bedroom and it was good to sllep at night. There is also a fan circulating system that was helpful, but I don't think there was a vent in the main level room, so I would suggest a fan for each bedroom, plus one forbthe living room. Looked like a new large patio outside the living room door overlooking the front of the house/street, no furniture to sit out there but a nice space. TV had a few channels, just turned it on for local news, couches were comfortable as were the beds. Bedding was soft, pillows were good and had options. Plenty of towels, hand towels and face cloths. Shower was stocked with anything you might need if you forgot your own. Not modern decor but it is well maintained and clean. The house may have few quarks but should be expected with its age and the neighborhood. Overall a nice and welcoming stay. Plenty of room for 2 or 3 adults. Could add in kids as they don't need to bath everyday otherwise might feel crowded with 1 bathroom.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024My husband, mother-in-law, two kids (ages 4 and 1) and I stayed this past weekend. We loved our stay! The owner had completely baby proofed the home with baby gate for stairs and kitchen, outlet covers, high chair, pack n play and booster seat, as well as an abundance of toys. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels. Parking on the street requires you to be slightly on the sidewalk, but that pretty standard in Pittsburgh. From the house we walked to breakfast, the lookout points, and the incline. Great place to stay and would recommend.

Stayed Aug 16, 2024We came into town for a preseason game and the house was perfect. The only downfall was there was no mention of the amount of stairs, and maybe I missed it, but there were a ton of stairs. Otherwise the stay was perfect, and the host had everything there that one would need.

Stayed Aug 3, 2024This rental was in a nice location. Just a short walk to the scenic overlooks on Mt Washington, as well as Shiloh St restaurants & Bigham St. The property was clean and well kept considering it is an older structure. There was plenty of room for our family, and the kitchen was well-stocked with items we may have needed especially for a longer stay. The air conditioning was struggling to keep some of the areas cool, but the weather was also hot that weekend. The units in the bedroom were good and hard to sleep with but that is just a personal issue for me. The TV did not work and neither did the living room light. The owner communicated about this issue, but the suggestion did not resolve the problem. Otherwise the beds were comfortable, we appreciated the linens , towels, and toiletries provided, and we enjoyed being so close to the Mt Washington attractions!
