Stayed Aug 14, 2024Great place. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shuttles to the Brewers game. Only complaint was the refrigerator was not clean at all. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Stayed Sep 16, 2025Great location for walking and biking. Lots of bars and restaurants around and grocery nearby. Great communication from host was a plus and easy check in and out. The unit itself has older basement vibes although it’s painted and has decent light. No bedroom door. A little lacking on the up-keep overall. But for the price and staying two nights, I can’t complain.

Stayed Jul 4, 2025Two huge concerns when renting a place: Cleanliness and Comfort. This place was spotless! The building is old. But the apartment is super clean. Floors were clean. Sheets and blankets were clean. Carpet was clean. Shower was clean! The pull out sofa was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. It might not be the furniture from the pics, but it is BETTER! It is an apartment. There are noises - regular people just living life. Nothing obnoxious. Occasional doors closing (NOT Slamming!). I once heard footsteps from above. This is not stuff to complain about. It did not impact my life or upset me. When you are in a building with others, you sometimes hear them. Like I said the building is old. So that does limit some of the electrical outlets or lighting. I had to search for a few of the light switches. But that just brought me back to childhood then I lived on the east side. There is one window A/C unit. This means one room is cold and the others are luke warm. Old Building! It is OK. It was not uncomfortable. If you have never lived without central air, consider this an adventure. You will survive if every room is not at 68 degrees. I Loved that parking was included. I hate trying to find parking in the city. This was quite convenient. And conveniently located. We were able to walk to coffee, dinner and drinks. The location is not far from down town.

Stayed Jun 24, 2025This place had everything I look for in travel lodging -- plus! It was clean, quiet, comfortable, safe and convenient to public transportation (the Green line to and from the airport is just a couple of short blocks away; the 30 Bus line (less than 5 mins walking distance) took me to the touristy places I wanted to see. PLUS - the bungalow had a kitchenette and living room. There were a bunch of local restaurants, bars and stores on E. Brady St as well as some national chains. The place ready for me when I arrived. I was appreciative of the welcoming touches -- lights and AC were on, full filtered water pitcher was in the fridge, snacks, coffee and tea were in the kitchen. Blake was great at communicating with me. I didn't have any problems or special needs but if I had, I am sure he would have responded promptly. All in all, I'm glad I found this place for my Milwaukee stay. If I ever come back, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Best part was location to Brady Street and easy check in. Space was much smaller than what the pictures appeared to be. Bedroom was small - there was about one foot of space on each side of the bed. Had issues with the heat/furnace. It would turn on, reach set temperature, turn off, and not come back on. Microwave was extremely dirty. Used the oven once and it filled the living space with smoke because it was dirty.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024This is a basement level apartment. There was no evidence of the well lit, bright space shown on the website. The tiny bedroom has a wobbly fan as the only air movement/ ventilation. The bedroom dresser was broken and drawer had sheets rolled up in a ball. Living room pictured was not the living room we encountered. No chair and credenza had a missing door. If two people plan to sleep on the couch, expect to be cozy. Bathroom had a dirty hand towel hanging. The toilet paper holder was broken (no roller) so toilet paper roll was set on the tub. 1/2 gallon of ice cream left in freezer and refrigerator needed to be cleaned. We booked 3 nights and left in the morning after 8 long hours overnight. Host was helpful and accessible through email but when faced with concerns about maintenance and cleanliness, did nothing but threaten to charge an extra night.

Stayed Aug 8, 2024This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while we visited my family. The location is great, close to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The kitchen and bathroom were nice and big. The bedroom was fine complete with a big closet. The attention to detail as far as extra linens and other amenities was excellent.
