Our home is located in a bigger (hence, safe) building near Downtown and South Loop. Once you get your key/fob using our simple check-in guide, you walk into the lobby. With key/fob, you may go up to your floor.

Once you take the elevator up, you take a left out of the elevator and walk all the way down to the corner unit.

Open the door and you are welcome to our designer home. The home opens up to a kitchen on the right and the living room straight ahead. To the left is bedroom and bathroom one. If you walk further one, you`ll see bedroom and bathroom two.

There are also great amenities so make sure to keep your fob with you at all times! There is a rooftop deck, business center, and a lounge for your enjoyment. You may also use the laundry facilities for $2 per wash and $2 per dry. Lastly, there is a gym attached to the building, which you may purchase passes during your stay.

A: Very much so. 24 hours a day.

:
A: The home is very easy to get to via public transit. There is public parking connected to the building, operated by LAZ. It is $15-30 / night. SPOTANGELS is your best bet to find FREE parking. Before you park please check all available signs as they may have changed and make sure there are no parking restrictions. Please use SPOTHERO for other parking options.

: , ,
A: Nope! we provide all these things. We also provide you with a starter pack of toilet papers.

:
A: Check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Early check ins can be difficult if there are guests who checked out same day. We ask for an early check-in, or a late-check out fee, if you request either.

:
A: Yes. And we wouldn`t trust any listing with which this isn`t the case.

:
A: Yes, and we take pride in providing a clean home for guests.

: `
A: We honestly have no idea. With fees included, it only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and it actually uses some crazy algorithm to adjust it automatically, so I don`t actually control this.

:
A: Very. Some guests say they`re the best they`ve ever slept on!

The South Loop is such a dynamic mix of attractions and histories that the neighborhood tends to be seen as many different things to many different people. Consider the assorted areas that comprise the South Loop:

Much of its eastern edge is encompassed by the Museum Campus, an impressive collection of cultural treasures that includes the Field Museum, Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium. This campus sits on scenic lakefront parklands that are an extension of Grant Park. With 319 acres of green space and recreational fields, Grant Park is known as `Chicago`s front yard` to locals and also plays host to major city events such as Taste of Chicago, Chicago Blues Festival and Lollapalooza.

Jutting out further into Lake Michigan is Northerly Island, a peninsula sought out by nature lovers, while along the southern edge the sports fans know Soldier Field as the stadium for the beloved Chicago Bears football team. Meeting attendees are most familiar with McCormick Place, the largest convention center in the country, which is also in the immediate area.

And yet there are even more facets to the South Loop. History buffs point out the Motor Row District along South Michigan Avenue and nearby Prairie Avenue District, the `Millionaire`s Row` that was lined with mansions belonging to Chicago`s most wealthy elite during the end of the 19th century.

In the adjacent Printer`s Row neighborhood, urban loft condos now fill the commercial spaces in what was formerly the center of the Midwest`s publishing industry. Connections to this past are still seen within the venerable, independent book store and annual summer lit fest here. But business professionals and students have brought new life and redevelopment (though the vibe remains mellow), filling the restaurants, music clubs, smaller theaters and museums that have all established themselves in the community.

You are only a 1 block away from the minute walk from Green, Red, and Orange `L` subway stop, which gets you virtually everywhere in the City. You are also a short walk to a number of restaurants and attractions

This place has an excellent location, near train stations and bus stops, museums and parks. The apartment has big windows and is generally quite nice. BUT. Although the bedrooms are large, there is negligible storage (dressers/drawers, shelves), forcing us to live out of suitcases for nearly a week. There are not towel rails/hangers for 4 people. Also a poorly equipped kitchen compared to other places we've stayed in Chicago. Finally, this place is quite expensive, and they hung on to a substantial damage deposit for 2 weeks before returning it.

Only things I would improve is having additional towels (we had a family of six) and be more specific on which lockbox the key and fob are located for check-in.

The check-in process described in the provided link was outdated. The lockbox for the key was behind a wooden panel, which was not mentioned. As a guest, I was hesitant to open things that did not belong to me. After communication with the host stalled, we eventually found the lockbox. I requested a phone call, but that never happened. Once we got the key and headed up to the apartment, we were stunned to find the cleaners still there 45 minutes past check-in time. The first thing we noticed was the metal blinds in all the rooms, which made each room extremely hot due to the sun. Fortunately, our daughter’s room also had curtains to block out light. Most of the blinds were missing the long plastic piece to open or close them, so we had to use the one we did have on each blind. The paint in the apartment was thick and excessively brushed on doors and trims. The toilets ran every 15 minutes, which was a nuisance late at night. Additionally, the kitchen faucet would spray water out of the back if pulled up too high. Despite having enough room, there were no dressers in any of the rooms. Our bedroom had a closet shelf with three of the six drywall anchors ripped out. However, the location was fantastic—close to bus stops and the L train, very easy to get bus passes, and within walking distance to the Shedd Aquarium and Field Museum. Overall, it was just an okay stay.

The best part of this VRBO is the location. We had expected we might need to drive to get to some of our planned activities, but we didn't move the car until we checked out. We were not able to use the parking deck next door (full) but found a lot not too far away for the same price. There is a Metro station just a block and a half away that can get you basically anywhere, and walking wasn't a problem for us. There is also a Trader Joe's and a Jewel-Osco less than a block away in case you want groceries or snacks. The unit itself was okay. Not amazing and not bad. The decor/design left a bit to be desired, but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable, so I'm not upset. The kitchen had everything we needed and the water ran hot! All in all a good place to stay and we'll be back if we need a place downtown again!

We visited for the Bears game. It was a short walk to soldier field and public transit. We took the train to and from the airport. The Roosevelt station was one block from the apartment. There is a Trader Joe’s and grocery store one block away. We visited Target several times. It was a three block walk. The apartment was clean and secure. We enjoyed having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We utilized the full kitchen. Thank you for a lovely stay.
