Stayed Nov 7, 2025The property was the perfect location for the Bears vs Giants. We enjoyed walking and exploring as well as the dining. The train was the most useful transportation around the city. We had zero needs at the apartment and it has a great view of the city. The hosts were above and beyond. I had questions, and they were quick to reply. We were so thankful we found this property.

Stayed Sep 11, 2025JW and Mary and the Chicago Hospitality club were outstanding. The sent us a lot of information to help us prepare for our trip: transportation, restaurants, and activities. We tended to follow all their suggestions and were not disappointed. We masted both the metro and bus systems without issueThe condo was comfortable, very clean, well decorated and we really enjoyed having the extra space to relax at the end of the day. There was a guard at the entrance to the building so we felt safe coming in at nigh. Best of all was the -location-location-location. Roosevelt Station was a block away and there was also a bus stop right outside the condo door. Trader Joes was one block from the rental. We would recommend this Condo to our friends and if we ever come to Chicago again we will certainty use MICH AVE #23 as our home base.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025Our family of 4 stayed here 6 nights and would stay again if we returned to the city. The view was spectacular and the convenience of being so close to public transportation and a Trader Joe’s made it easy to stock up on necessities for our stay.

Stayed May 1, 2025This property is perfect for a weekend getaway. Location was perfect - CTA station one block away, grocery stores across the street. Grant Park right outside the front doors! The attached public parking garage provided direct and easy access for hard to find parking in Chicago. The hosts graciously provided a link so that we could pay resident prices for parking. Very easy to use! Permanent residents of the building are friendly and always had a smile and “hello”. We would definitely stay here again for our next Chicago getaway!

Stayed Mar 16, 2025We had a great trip to Chicago! The apartment is very easy to find and access by train is easy, easy. The view is amazing, especially during a thunder storm. It is a large space for a city apartment. We had our three teenage children and felt like there was tv e perfect size for a week. Close to grocery stores and restaurants as well as many site seeing locations. We found it to stocked adequately for fixing meals and were pleasantly surprised with coffee pods and fixings provided. Thanks for a great stay!

Stayed Mar 8, 2025The place was great for 2 couples with the 2 bed 2 bath. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The sofa wasn't very comforable but that would be the only negative. The view was spectacular and the location was near public transportation so it was easy to access the many tourist attractions. We didn't have a vehicle so we bought a 7 day pass for the buses and trains when we arrived at the airport. Having a grocery store and Trader Joes around the corner were very convenient to buy food to cook and save some money. The hosts were very responsive to my many questions and helpful with recommendations. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago.

Stayed Jun 22, 2024The location of this property cannot be beat. At the corner of Roosevelt and Michigan, there is access to Red, Orange, and Green line trains, plus access to multiple bus routes to all of the museums and must-see attractions. You also have great views of Willis Tower and Lake Michigan. The check-in procedure is as easy as obtaining the keys from the lock box on the first floor. There is no waiting or dealing with a registration desk. The apartment itself is clean and spacious. The owners provide plenty of cleaning supplies such as hand and dish soap, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags. The beds are very comfortable. The only issue we had was with the water temperature in the master bath, where the shower would change from hot to freezing cold with no warning. Spacing out showers seemed to help. This is probably due to the building's age rather than anything specific to the apartment. The only other thing to be aware of is that the second bedroom does not have an air conditioning unit. The owners do provide fans, so it was not a major issue for my kids to stay there. However, for adults it may be something to consider. There are blackout shades in this room (but none in the master bedroom which is strange).

Stayed Jun 28, 2024Overall, our stay was great and the location was perfect. We wanted to do something special with our daughter who was turning 2, so we took her to the Children's Museum and Shedd Aquarium. Everything we needed was either a few minute drive or walking distance from the apartment. The only negatives were the rooftop patio - the grills weren't working properly so we couldn't grill out like we wanted. Parking was an issue, but I had a feeling it would be. We were charged $70 per day in the lot attached to the building. I can't complain too much there though, we could have tried to find something cheaper but with a 2 year old, it seemed worth it to just park there and be done with it. Overall, it was a great trip and I'd recomend the place to anyone looking to enjoy Navy Pier and the lakeshore.
