The neighborhood was nice and quiet, very close to the beach and other places but we recommend to fix a few things like shower curtain rod (kept falling), carpet needs cleaning or replacement, towels seem very old too. Other than that kitchen is really nice and practical.

Cute, well appointed apartment close to everything you want to be close to. Place was super clean, beds comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our plans were in a bit of flux due to a very last minute change in our travel plans, and the property owner was super flexible in working with us and giving us options. I’ll definitely stay here next time I’m in Santa Barbara

The flat was a great find and is quiet and near everything - especially the beach. We enjoyed the spaciousness and attentiveness of the host to details for a fun trip. A few items are in need of maintenance but nothing that causes any issues for the guest.

The place was a perfect fit for the four of us. We were gone during the day but there was plenty of room for us for cooking dinner and sleeping. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The location was ideal. We LOVED it!

Pros: great location, on-site laundry. owner was responsive except for when we were trying to check in and the key was not where we had been told it would be.Cons: on check in, key was not where it was supposed to be. multiple attempts to contact host were unanswered. We received an answer 2 hours later.The carpet needs to be replaced. Carpeted floors make no sense in a place like this with a climate like this. It's not sanitary.There was only one working space heater in the whole place. We never did get the house as warm as we would have liked it. It appears there is no A/C either, so I wouldn't recommend it in the summer.The furniture and everything in the house looks like grandma's leftovers. It wouldn't take a lot of money to make it look a little more modern.Beds were uncomfortable - saggy mattresses, etc. One of the pillows provided had a blood stain on it.There was no soap/etc provided in the bathroom. We did discover a drawer full of half-used bars of soap - gross.The house smelled like mildew and drove my allergies crazy. I think getting rid of the carpet would probably cure that. The damp climate means it never fully dries off in there, at least at the time of year we visited.This place could be great, and it wouldn't cost that much money. Replace the floor with some laminate plank, paint the walls (white to brighten it up), install a mini-split heat-pump for AC and heat, and replace the furniture. It sounds like a lot but only the AC unit is .

What a lovely location in Santa Barbara! 5 minute walk to the beach. Comfortable one bedroom home with large living room with pull out couch and roll away bed. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment

Great place in a location with easy walking to the beach and restaurants

Great location and very quiet. We didn't have any problems with street parking. We recommend bringing some additional padding for the sofa bed and roll away mattresses. We appreciated having both so our kids didn't have to share. Will stay here again in the future!

This property was cozy and safe. It’s within walking distance to the beach and nearby stores. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bed was comfortable.

I stayed 3 night with my my hubby and 2 kids. No car took train. Close walk to beach. Close enough to grocery stores and taco trucks dow the street! Safe and quiet. Love east beach side over west beach now. Quik uber to state street...

Great little place near the beach. Should have onsite parking and better lighting inside and outside. Also our first rental home without an android compatible TV.Very cozy and well lit.

This place was wonderful and made our trip a true delight. The mattress in the bedroom and the rollout cot mattress were both lacking. Could do to get a couple of new mattresses.

This was our second time staying at this wonderful address. The host is friendly and helpful and the property was clean, quiet and in such a perfect location. We love staying here!

My sister and I wanted a place near East Beach so we could easily walk everywhere. The place isn't fancy but clean and very comfortable. The neighborhood feels safe and is very quiet. I really appreciated the good quality beach chairs, towels, and umbrella available for our use. Tri County Produce is just 2 blocks away and has all the basics. Next time I won't even rent a car (even though it was no problem finding street parking). We enjoyed walking on the bike path to get coffee and then setting up at the beach with our chairs. Our goal was rest and relaxation and this low key place was perfect. We'll be back!

Very clean, nice neighborhood, conveniently located.

The location was perfect for a 15 minute walk to the promenade. However it should be noted that the A/C was just a selection of fans so it can get quite hot inside and the whole place could benefit from a deep clean and a lick of paint. We were comfortable enough though.

We enjoyed the property. The proximity to the beach and food was spot on! We literally walked to the beach each day! Inside the property is a bit dated, could use a fresh coat of paint and a professional cleaning! There were lots of spiderwebs
