Stayed Jun 25, 2024It is hard to imagine that Nerano will be the same in five years, as a last original vestige of the Amalfi Coast. The apartment has an amazing terrace with panoramic views, and all the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were comfortable and well maintained and stocked. It is located at the start of the hiking trail to literally the end of the Amalfi Peninsula, and to the best (and generally) local beach with clear waters and snorkeling. It is quite a hike to and from Marina Cantone, and taking the bus or taxi back up to town is recommended. But the charm lies with the people who live here. From Bruno and Antoinette tho made us the “special” sandwiches and provided us with Prosecco, to Luca who runs Chasing Syrens Kayaks and not only took us on a spectacular outing but volunteered to drive and our luggage to the boat to Capri, to the Pasta Nerano and warm cornettos at Zaghera Kitchen right out the front door. But note, there are many steps to get to this apartment from the street, and it will seem a bit remote if you want to be in the middle of the Marina Cantone “action,” or the Positano crowds. We appreciated its enchanting solitude and respite from the rest of what the Amalfi Coast has become in summer.

Stayed Sep 14, 2023We loved our stay here! Giusy met us when we arrived and took us to the parking area. She went above and beyond to call an auto mechanic when we thought our rental car had an issue. Lucky us, the issue was just our error. The home was neat and clean, just as the pictures and description depicted. One surprise was the climb up several flights of stairs to get to the home…but so worth it because the view was gorgeous! We watched the sunrise from the balcony every morning! Thank you Giusy for taking care of us!

Stayed Jul 30, 2023I'm writing a thorough review so that others have insight as I wish someone would have shared info with me ahead of time. The pictures looked beautiful although I was concerned there were not any reviews since 2022. This place is a good 30 minutes from Sorrento along very windy roads so it is not an easy drive. The Nerano harbor does have one company who will let you take out boats and they have a tour that goes to Amalfi and Positano in one day. Otherwise, you have to go to Sorrento where the main harbor and ferries are out of. The description shows that there would be beach towels and when I asked the property manager about this, she said there are none. When we checked in, property manager when over everything really quickly like she was in a rush. There were ants and she poured some white powder on the counter and then I asked for paper towels to clean it up and she said there aren’t any. I asked for toilet paper as there was only a small used roll in one bathroom and she said she we should go to the store. Then out of the blue after I asked for these things, she said if we don’t like the house we can leave as we already paid for it. Other thing to note is the trash. You have to separate glass, plastic, paper and food otherwise they will charge you. They gave one set of towels per person (hand, wash and bath) for the whole week. Since there is no dryer, it is hard to wash it and make sure it dries in time to use for the next day. Towels are also thin. Listing says

Stayed Aug 6, 2022Great property. Off the beat and bath which is what we loved about it. Very authentic, non touristy part of the Amalfi coast. Short bus ride to the beach. There are alot of steps to get to the unit so not for the unfit, but worth it for the views and charming town. There is everything you need in the village square, and bus service to Sorrento if you want to do the capri day trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jul 4, 2022We loved our stay here. This quiet, small village was just what we needed. We were not looking for the crowds and hassle of the other areas and we found just what we were looking for. The apartment is perfect with a beautiful view of the sea. There were plenty of restaurants with excellent food. Make sure to rent a boat for the day down by the beach. It was the best. Also visit Bruno and his wife at their market in the square. He is awesome!

Stayed May 21, 2022As stated in previous reviews, this is a lovely house with large bedrooms, and is exactly as shown in the pictures; we spent most of our time admiring the beautiful view from the large terrace. It is located in a quiet little village, with the essentials available in Rosetta's alimentari. Since we have only limited knowledge of Italian, we had to use Google Translate to communicate with the owner, and that worked out well enough.

Stayed Sep 21, 2019If you want to discover Amalftina Coast and The Islands in nearby, you have to choose this location situaded în Nerano. The House is 'bellisima' and the view is gorgeus for all the rooms in the house. The view of terrace is to Nerano bay. The House is very clean and with all the things you need. If you have a rental îs perfect. You have a parking space nearby location. At the end you will want more days to stay. Bogdan
