Chris and sully are absolutely amazing they checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. This place is so clean quiet and cozy. This place is set up with everything you need from games to kitchen amenities and more. THE BATHROOM WOW!!! you definitely get a home away from home vibe here .thank you guys again

Beautiful, modern unit beneath house occupied by the hosts. Better furnished than in the photos. Host was responsive and allowed us to keep our little dog in a crate during dinner reservations which is not allowed (if I’d read that, I would’ve booked elsewhere). Only drawbacks was a very firm mattress, hearing the owners dogs running overhead every morning and the hot tub could have been cleaner. We were allowed full run of the beautiful backyard with Mountain View’s, however, the yard lights did not come on a couple of nights.

This place is nested away up in the hills of Malibu. A quick drive put us right onto PCH were all the Malibu action is. The location itself is very spacious with a nice kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and large bedroom. Communication with Chris and Scully was easy, and we felt very welcomed. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

I highly recommend booking this cozy retreat on your visit to Malibu. Chris and Scully are fabulous host and make the atmosphere inviting, comfortable and relaxing. The living accommodations are by far the best. The space is very large and spacious overall. The bedroom is quite larfw with separate area to relax on the couch and desk space to work. There is a beautiful walk in closet with plenty of room for your luggage and clothing without impending the bedroom living area. Tastefully decorated and upgraded kitchen and bath make this an all around 5star experience. Please do take a chance to enjoy tge private outdoor space available as a guest, you're in a for a wonderful surprise.

Wonderful. Georgeous place high up the mountains. Great walks. beaches Georgeous. Wonderful seating are outside with great view and a fire-it!! Clean, spacious, well equipped kitchen and amenities!!

We needed a quiet place to land while attending a family funeral and this spot did not disappoint. Chris and Scully were as welcoming and sweet as can be; even offered us a bottle of wine while we were unloading the car. We will definitely visit them again when we venture back to Malibu.

What an absolute pleasure! We purposefully booked a retreat as a place to rest between stressful family visits on a holiday weekend, and we could not have picked a better spot. Lovely mountain hikes just out the door to overlooks. Quick drive to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated without feeling stuffy. The hosts were absolutely lovely. They provided great tips about what to see and do in the area, and were very responsive to questions. My family enjoyed a lovely meal on the back patio with a great view of the canyon and warmed ourselves at the fire pit. We would definitely book here again. 3

We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return/recommend. Highlights: Super clean, great kitchen, great shower… but what we appreciated most was all the beach gear. It really made our trips to the beaches a whole lot better.
