Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent six nights in this marvelous apartment that is literally a five minute walk to the Old City. The apartment was just as described -- spacious, bright and perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well appointed and the balcony offered a delightful front row view of the neighborhood happenings. We felt that we were part of the community rather than just visitors. We could walk everywhere from this location and recommend it enthusiastically!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a great stay in Jerusalem thanks to this wonderful appartment and its owners. We felt being welcome at all times. The description of the appartment was very accurate, just look at the pictures... The Old City is in walking distance - just around the corner - we took advantage of that privileged location. A parking location is 1min away - friendly and inexpensive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great place very close to the historic area and not far from modern shopping. Apartment was clean and spacious- very comfortable. Everything necessary to cook and enjoy our trip. Owner is helpful and discreet...We enjoyed her artwork! Really fantastic option for families wanting a more natural relaxed pace close to everything.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have rented a few different places in Jerusalem from VRBO, Esther's place is by far the best that I have ever stayed in. She is able to make it comfortable and workable whether you keep kosher or not. I stayed her with my parents and my two teenage sons. We had plenty of room and the two bathrooms helped a lot! It was a 5-10 minute walk to Damascus, New or Jaffa Gates. Very close to Mamilla as well. The kitchen was wonderful for cooking. There is a small cosy table to eat in the kitchen or a large table in the dining room. We loved to two balconies off the apartment, wonderful places to read. We washed our laundry and hung it out back to dry. Plenty of shopping in the area and Esther loaned us a wheeled cart for bringing our groceries home. The decor is lovely and highlighted by Esther's beautiful paintings. All you could want and more!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were delighted with our stay in Esther's beautiful apartment near the old city in Jerusalem. While the photos on the website were good, we were even more impressed by the spaciousness of the light-filled apartment when we first entered it. The designer bathroom and kitchen with granite and marble.were an added bonus. The property was very clean and well-maintained. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is spending a few days in Jerusalem. The apartment was conveniently located to the Old City, the Light Rail (rapid transit system which you can take out to Yad Vashem), and Mamila shopping centre.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This apartment did not work out for us at all. We stayed in July and expected a 'luxury' property to have air conditioning (especially at the price we paid). It didn't, and we couldn't stay there. And while it is a 5 minute walk to the Old City, it is the Damascus Gate, not Jaffa Gate, so it was more like a 15-20 minute walk to the Jewish Quarter, Jaffa Road, and the Mamilla Mall. That said, the host was pleasant and the apartment was well appointed.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have travelled the world and stayed in many VRBO properties but this one was best of all. HUGE and well appointed rooms with the owners fabulous artwork throughout. Took awhile to find it but once home we didn't want to leave. The neighborhood is quiet (sans me playing the piano in the back bedroom.) And there's a great Palestinian market across the Damascus Gate. Al-Quds Restaurant was a favorite. Don't even look any further, just book this place. I looked and looked and looked and came back to this one in the end. Loved it. Thanks Esther.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969wonderful location, very spacious, owner very willing to help with information or other needs, nicely appointed. Check that construction has been completed before renting as the last 2 weeks of our rental was unpleasant. Would recommend this apartment
