Luxury Studio at Zona Dorada Beach

This is our second stay in the Luxury Studio at Zona Dorado. The best hosts we have had at any VRBO. We felt welcomed from the moment we booked and especially on arriving for our 8 night stay. The Queen, Murphy bed is very comfortable for sleeping. It folds up and into a sofa giving lots of space during the day. The Kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. We loved having coffee on the Patio outside our room and waited each morning for Cora, the owners dog to come greet us. The grounds and pool area are so beautifully maintained. The pool is awesome and the covered, outdoor kitchen area is perfect complete, with dining areas, a hammock for an afternoon nap and lots of spots to sit and read or get some sun. We have been to Bucerias many times so the location is close to all of our favorite restaurants and just a couple blocks to the beach. Sheryl and Billy are the best hosts and go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Even during the 2026 Sheltering in Place Advisory after the Sunday morning protests, we felt safe and secure and thoroughly enjoyed every day we were there. Can’t wait for our return to this wonderful home in Bucerias.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at Casa Dorado. The owners Sheryl and Billy are the most welcoming hosts. All the amenities are first class from the kitchen ware to the toiletries. The pool area is a great place to hang out and swim in the heated pool. The garden also has a fully equipped kitchen with a pool house and outdoor shower. Everything you need is within walking distance, a mere few minutes to the beach and loads of restaurants. Sheryl can give you loads of ideas for food, tours or things to see or do. We would 100% recommendation staying here. We can’t wait to return next year..Thank you Sheryl, Billy and of course Cora for a wonderful stay!

The hosts were great, they even had some basic groceries ready for us when we arrived. The house was very nice and clean. Everything worked. A lot of care goes into your stay at this house, and it shows. The house is close to everything.

We love Bucerias and so does everyone else it seems as it is getting more and more difficult to find a place to stay. We were excited about staying in this Luxury studio a couple blocks from the beach. Everything about our unit was great. The sellers have gone above and beyond to think of everything that would make your stay enjoyable. The Murphy bed was comfortable with quality linens and easy to fold up and out of the way during the day. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. We enjoyed our first experience with a French Press Coffee maker. Went home and ordered one for our own home. Lots of storage for your clothes and comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower. The pool and patio area were so beautiful. Well manicured lawn and flowers, comfortable seating including hammock for your afternoon nap, outdoor shower as well as a bathroom in the pool area, kitchen with grill as well. The owners were so friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. We were only there for 5 nights, hated to leave and will definitely be back.

We had a fabulous stay at the luxury studio at Casa Dorada. The entire place is exactly like the pictures. The backyard is amazing and we spent many hours by the beautiful pool. Sheryl and Billy are great hosts. We will hopefully be back again!
