Luxury stay near Oakridge Mall for vacation/work

Not the best location off a busy street and behind a 7/11. Wouldn’t market this as a “luxury” home when it’s a small apartment in a worn down fourplex.

The Luxury stay was not luxurious at all. It was nice, quite and had what we needed. But far from luxury. Only one towel per person, no wash cloth, just a hand towel. Cover on the couch has some animal hair on it. The bedding was very much a thrift store find and smelled. A box of random silverware was in the drawer. Water would take for ever to get hot, if at all. Host was accusatory that I didn't know how to turn on the hot water and still didn't believe me after we complained twice that we did not have hot water. Don't know what to say, there was no hot water several times. Host asked my why other unites didn't have an issue. How would I know, didn't have access to others. Parking was not appropriate for a large pickup truck and no other space was available. Will know to look for that issue in future stays elsewhere. All in all it met our immediate needs, but will not leave a good review. The place was defiantly worse than a one star hotel.

The property is very clean and is in excellent condition. The owner was also extremely helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We had some internet issues but they were quick to assist and resolved everything promptly. We really enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend!

Very cozy place

Luong was very responsive and helpful. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

This was such a pleasant experience. The property was just like the photos. The furniture was in excellent shape, the decorations were tasteful and nice, everything was just as expected. The kitchen was well organized, cabinets were well stocked, organized and clean. Everything we needed was provided. We were impressed with the plush, oversized towels for showering and they were soft! The host, Luong was so friendly, welcoming us, info was provided about the surrounding areas with some key points shared, and when we did have a question, got back to us right away. We were even asked for our opinion on an issue so that told us that Luong was very concerned about making sure our stay and the stay of others would be even more comfortable in the future. We had a designated parking spot which was a dream since our nights tended to be late at night and we didn't have to struggle to find a parking spot as a safe spot was always available. If you are looking for a very comfortable, cozy, clean and organized Home Away From Home, look no further. We definitely will rent again.

Very clean and comfortable.

The house was clean, and had everything we needed. After a long week and a long day at Pebble Beach, the comfortable beds gave me the best sleep I’ve had all week.

The property was very clean and in a convenient location. We would stay there again and San Jose is a pretty city. The owner was very helpful with telling us where we need to go and what we need to see.

Property was very comfortable and clean. Property manager was very easy to get a hold of. No complains. I would highly recommend friends and family to stay at this location.

Perfect stay for a good price, will be back for certain. Note to owner, the word luxury is a bit misleading, a really quite neighborhood and a very clean and wonderful place, we loved it, but people might be taken aback since it’s not a “luxury” condo or area.

Really enjoyed the apartment! My son and I came to San Jose for an inline hockey tournament and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. Quite at night, good privacy, but centrally located as well. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Generally, was a good, comfortable stay and I would recommend to anyone who doesn’t have small kiddos. Pros: very centrally located, comfortable beds, plenty of amenities, good water pressure, empty dressers to store clothes so you don’t have to live out of your suitcase, host was extremely responsive and very very helpful, plenty of parkingCons: the floors and baseboards were FILTHY (so glad I brought my 7 month olds playmat. No way I’d let her play directly on those floors), dead rat in carport, finicky door lock, upstairs neighbors are a bit noisy

Quiet area, great accessibility for travel!

We had a great time at this property. Was in town for work meetings, and it served all of my needs. Very clean and comfortable. Had one issue, but the host was very responsive and, together, we found a solution. Have no problem recommending this place and staying here again.

In-laws stayed in town for about a week for a wedding.

Perfect stay in San Jose - very easy check-in, super friendly host, and a great location. I’d book this again if I’m in the SJ area again!

We were in town for my mother’s birthday and it was a great home base in between all the family events. Good location, quiet and comfortable stay, and we tried the host’s recommendations for pho (pho y 1) and malibu grill and bbq next door and loved it.

luong was very kind and helpful. he was very responsive and answered any messages almost immediately. the house itself was very tidy and organized. the floors could have been cleaned a bit more, but it was very clean overall. i also loved the surrounding neighborhood! super peaceful and quiet.

I enjoyed this property. It's clean, well appointed and the owner is quick to respond. I would definitely recommend. It's quiet, the beds are comfortable, and there's a coffee shop and convenience store within 500 steps of the front door.

Everything was great. The place was cozy and clean. The location was very convenient, Close to 7-Eleven and produce store. The host was Very responsive and accommodating. We had a great time.

Clean and comfortable. We were not sure to park at first as we didn't see it the instructions. Turns out to have a nice covered parking stall.
