Luxury Stay DT Houghton 2 Bed, 1 Bath Suite C

Second time staying here and won't be our last. Always clean, comfortable and the location is wonderful.

Everything was top notch. Communication was on point. One of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in!. Awesome view of the lift bridge, day or night. The proximity to dining and shopping on Main Street could not be better situated. IF you are a light sleeper, it's possible you'll hear sounds from the cars going by on the bricks that make up Main Street Houghton. There is at least 1 box fan (maybe 2, didn't look for it) in the room we slept in, turn that on medium and it drowns out any outside noise from the street. The building is renovated from the copper boom, it would be awesome if there was some history on the building in the form of some wall art. The only thing that would've made it better, but even so, would be a king bed in one of the rooms. Looking forward to future visits, hope it's available when we want to come back.

I lived in Houghton for 28 years. We recently moved, but have a daughter attending Michigan Tech. This location is absolutely perfect when coming back. We could walk anywhere downtown. We had dedicated parking right out back. The unit was beautiful. We will definitely stay when we come back up if available.

The property was great. We really enjoyed our time there. Communication was excellent before, during, and after our visit. We would like to stay there again the next wine we travel to Houghton.

Great location, comfortable accommodations, some extra backups of paper towel and kitchen items would be helpful as the paper towel was almost empty when we arrived and ran out during our stay. Also the box of storage bags was empty in the drawer. Will likely stay again when back in town.

Great location for downtown Houghton with easy access and parking. Property is clean and well maintained. We had a great time!

Beautiful suite in downtown Houghton. Great view. Perfect location: walking distance to shops and restaurants. Clean, modern decor, spacious with all the amenities and parking included. Great place to stay if visiting your kid at Michigan Tech. We will definitely stay there again.

The condo is in the perfect downtown location. Very walkable to all our favorite places and close to MTU. The place is clean and roomy, with a beautiful kitchen overlooking the Houghton/Hancock bridge and the downtown area. We felt comfortable and safe. We would definitely rent this place again!

We had a great time

We had a great time in the Houghton area with this apartment as our home base! The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and bars and the riverfront, and the parking was easy in and out once we figured it out (read the host instructions before you drive in). The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. I highly recommend!

This tidy little apartment is a well-executed modern living space in an historic downtown Houghten retail building. It makes a perfectly situated base camp for tourists exploring Michigan's legendary copper country. Host had every amenity that we required covered.

The apartment was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The location could not have been better and we enjoyed the view of the bridge. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Fully equipped, clean and cozy apartment conveniently located in downtown Houghton. Our family of three stayed four nights. There are two parking places in the back where you enter the premises. We liked the convenience of being downtown and walking everywhere including along the water down to Michigan Tech. The apartment is fully equipped. It is directly next to another one so you could hear people walking around which wasn’t an issue during the day, but sometimes at night or early morning you could hear them. Also, beds in both rooms are doubles which is a little small for two adults. Lexi our host was very accessible and communicative. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed the stay and the property was great! It was as good or better than the photos. The unit it is in a great location, within walking distance of all the downtown Houghton popular spots. The large living room window overlooks the Portage and the lift bridge. The host was amazing and helpful. When we had inclement weather and our departure was delayed they were right there to help us extend our stay an extra night, making it as easy as possible. We will definitely be staying here again for future visits.

If you like the wilderness but want some conveniences nearby, this is the perfect place. The condo is right in downtown Houghton, so you have access to restaurants, bars,etc. The place is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The hosts are quick to respond. I would not stay anywhere else in the area.

This was a great place to stay for our son's ski camp at Mont Ripley. This building has loads of character. The host was very responsive, and the condo was clean and well-stocked: plenty of towels, bedding, blankets, and ICE. Check-in, building access, and parking was *so* easy. Great kitchen, comfy beds, and a fantastic shower. The stackable washer and dryer was a major plus. We were centrally located in downtown Houghton, within walking distance of nearly every place we wanted to go and less than a 5-minute drive to the ski area. The host provides lots of games, which came in handy for the unexpected rainy day. We loved our stay and plan to return for next year's camp!

My husband and I loved the suite/apartment! It is a beautifully renovated space in downtown Houghton - a clean, fresh and inviting area to stay! The huge windows offer a wonderful view of town, the Portage and the lift bridge. We had an easy walk to all our destinations, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you!
