Luxury Space with Wilderness Views

Great outlook from this wonderful accommodation

Check in was easy and communication is good. Host answers phone and respond to our request promptly. Very pretty view and quiet location! A really good place to stay in Cooper landing area.

There was nothing to dislike. Everything was perfect. The host, the accommodations, the view was breath taking. We didn't want to move on. We were sorry we didnt book the location for a longer stay. Don't know how to thank them in a way that shown our true appreciation. We would recommend this location to anyone who wants to experience a true love for Alaskan hospitality. Cannot thank our hosts enough.

Ahhh for words about the suite…a hidden gem and disappointed that Lorraine and Mike will mot be using the suite again for rental. All in all it was more than we expected and then some. We would stay here again, but use the Cabin, which is alsa a hidden gem. Lorraine and Mike are very kind and great people and enjoyed the few chats we had. Hopefully you guys enjoyed your trip down to Kodiak and harvested some fish and crab! Thank you for the use of your property and warm welcome… keep working on that dog sled… ‘ one day at a time ‘. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorraine’s Kahtnu Spirit suite. Comfy, spacious, and killer views. Ideal central location for local rafting, fishing, hiking, and day trips to anywhere on the Peninsula. Easy walk to the restaurants in the Kenai Princess Lodge.

Beautifully decorated, clean, all the amenities you need, grills worked great, spectacular view from the porch of the Kenai river. Watched a couple of eagles hunting each day. Great central location to Seward and Homer plus all the activities the river offers.

We found the perfect place to stay on the Kenai Peninsula for our “DIY Alaska Land Tour”! We managed to travel from Seward to Homer during our three nights, and found quiet, rest, and relaxation when we came home to the suite at the “Kahtnu Spirit Lodging”. Lorraine was very hospitable and helped us immensely with our touring plans (great notes!) and even served my husband a plate of ribs at the community softball game! The suite is well-equipped, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the (amazing) shower was a welcome refresher on our travel weary bones. You won’t be disappointed here. Enjoy the space, place, and gracious welcome on the Kenai.

Enjoyed the stay

Enjoyed it but really didn’t like the design where one couple had to go in the other’s bedroom to use the bathroom and one had to go in the other’s bedroom to use the kitchen

We absolutely loved staying here. The location was amazing and overlooked the Kenai River. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Lorraine and Mike were both fantastic hosts while staying at their place in Cooper Landing. We highly recommend staying here! The view is fantastic, and both Mike and Lorraine helped us with some activities and local happenings. Fantastic people with some great Alaska history and knowledge.

The view is WOW, WOW, WOW! Literally the Kenai river out the front door. So beautiful. The cabin was well cleaned, comfortable, and perfect for our family with 3 small kids to sleep, eat, and play. The welcome basket of yogurts, fruits, and muffins was so wonderful and kind. Mike and Lorraine are gracious hosts and have prepared a really wonderful space.
