Viehhofen is an idyllic village a short distance from the well-known resort of Saalbach-Hinterglemm. You can take the skilift ZellamseeExpress directly from the village, towards the Schmittenhöhe. The well-known ski resort Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang Fieberbrunn, with 270 km of ski runs, is a short distance away.

In summer, the region is great for hiking, cycling and getting out into nature. Also in Zell am See, visit Zellersee where you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water, or hire a pedalo for a day of fun
