Summary:

The Garret is a three-bedroomed apartment (with parking) and the largest in a newly built 'New York' style building in the centre of York. Superbly finished with two south facing balconies and two luxurious shower rooms. The apartment name was inspired by the French word 'guerite', meaning watchtower and a loft living space occupied by artists.



The Space:

This spacious duplex apartment is designed with Mid-Century style furniture and Slim Aarons and Bo Lundberg prints. Upstairs is a spacious, apex roofed, fabulously designed living, kitchen and dining room with industrial loft style wall, sumptuous green sofa and chairs, 43 Samsung Smart TV (with Netfilx App etc) and Denon Bluetooth sub-woofer soundbar for music streaming.



The dining area has a 6-seater velvet copper dining set with Sony Bluetooth turntable and selection of LPs.



The high-spec kitchen has every utensil you would need as well as Siemens appliances (oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, induction hob), Magimix (Nespresso) coffee machine, Dualit toaster and Dualit kettle!



The first balcony has stunning York Minster views - a beautiful space to sit and relax after a day of sightseeing.



Downstairs there are three large bedrooms. The first King-size bedroom has iconic New York loft windows. In tribute to this, each bedroom offers an industrial-style hanging space, softened by luxury velvet armchairs.



The second/master bedroom has a King-size bed. Full width sliding doors give access to the second balcony – again with fantastic Minster views. This room has an en suite with large rainfall shower, basin, toilet, feature mirrored alcoves, downlights and night lighting.



The third bedroom has a King-sized bed, that can be split into two single beds on request, also leads onto the balcony.



All bedrooms have Simba Hybrid Pro or 2,000 pocket sprung mattresses, Simba Hybrid duvets, Simba Hybrid pillows, hotel-quality linen and white cotton towels.



There is a further family shower room with large rainfall shower, basin and toilet.

Being in the centre of York, there is no need for a car, and we are a 15-minute walk from York Train Station. However, if you are travelling to us by car we have a permit for the local car park you can use for free during your stay.
