Stayed Dec 31, 2022Needed a place to stay after a long day spent at American Dream Mall. Was only 15 min drive from the mall and exactly what we needed which was a modern clean and comfortable unit with plenty of space for myself, wife, son and his 2 friends. Would definitely return if visiting the area in the future.

Stayed Dec 26, 2022We had a great time here. There were some miscommunication in my part. I didn’t know I needed to turn the furnace on so we went without (great news is even though it was in the teens and twenties at night it never got below 68 inside). I couldn’t find the broom, but never asked I just assumed the cleaning company does all the cleaning and there wasn’t one (it’s behind the mirror). The host was wonderful and made our stay perfect. Even though there were a couple issues I still give this property 5 stars. The only thing that is wrong on the listing was that it says it’s a one bedroom loft in parts, but I think it’s a spelling error because in others it says it’s a two bedroom. It is very loud in the loft. If you are a light sleeper, bring silicone Ear plugs (it cuts out the noise of the train and sometimes the neighbors). The neighbors aren’t loud (they are great), the walls are so tall and everything is wood, there’s only blinds not curtains, so it’s echoey inside. That’s what you should expect in a loft because of the height of the ceilings. The floors are very well insulated so I’m sure it’s the height of the ceiling and nothing else (I bet if the furnace was on I wouldn’t have heard them at all). The train was hard for me to sleep with. I’m a very light sleeper so even though the ear buds worked and the TV had the white noise on, the vibrations (when it passed every half hour or so) woke me up. I got used to it after three nights it felt like thunder in a storm. Which really helped turning on YouTube white noises (rain made it really convincing). I would only wake up around 5-6 am when the train roared by. I know the listing stated it was a loft literally 2 minute walk from the rail station, but being from Michigan I had no idea what that was I actually thought it was a bus or a store. Again a miscommunication on my part. So if you are looking for a place in Jersey this place is nice inside, all the negative reviews I read claimed it was in a bad area, this is not true. It is a city loft. The cement needs repair on the roads in some parts from it being cracked which is the main thing I could think of as people seeing as sketchy. It’s not sketchy. I think the people that wrote that were not city people. It is good for families of all ages. The owner is a polite honest man as well.It is close to New York. There are great places to eat-I ate at “r u hungry”and then we tried why go so far African cuisine. Definitely recommend this loft and diners!!

Stayed Aug 23, 2022We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were really friendly and nice. They responded to all messages very promptly. The apartment was well kept and really cute. We arrived to a basket of wonderful snacks which was a plus. We will definitely be coming back.
