Azura is a wonderful, welcoming ground floor apartment, well decorated and furnished to a high specification.
Being a ground floor apartment, this makes it easy for access and so convenient and safe for families with small children.
There is a reserved parking space for 1 car . If you wish to arrive by train, Carbis Bay station, is on the delightful single track railway line that meets the main London to Penzance trains at St Erth station. The apartment is just a short level walk from the station.

The train ride is very beautiful along the coast and we use it to pop into St Ives , 1 stop away for outings, dinner, etc and often walk back or vice versa.! Children really enjoy the train rides.

There is a balcony with a glass gate access from the gardens, which has a table and 4 chairs for enjoying the afternoon and evening sun.
The property is spacious and comfortable with 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One is an ensuite shower room off the King Size bedroom, and the other is a family bathroom with bath and shower.
There is 32”Samsung TV in the main bedroom and a “Smart” 50” Toshiba TV in the lounge. There is free secure Hi Speed WiFi .
The kitchen has a breakfast bar and all modern conveniences. Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, vented tumble drier, gas hot water and central heating.
The spacious lounge seats 5 comfortably with a dining table and chairs for up to 6 people.
There is a DVD player, books , games and maps plus information about the local area and what’s on.

We are 5 mins walk down to Carbis Bay beach with its golden blue flag sandy beach, where you can sunbathe, surf, swim and paddle board. ( boards for hire as required)

Azura is just 1 minute from the South West coastal path leading into St Ives westwards or east towards Lelant and the miles of golden sands at Hayle Towans. A truly stunning Bay from any angle.

Guests can expect a warm friendly apartment with a welcome pack of a bottle of wine and some useful items to include milk, tea and coffee to start your holiday.

We include in our information pack,
a list of various starter items for their stay as well as detailed information on access which is by Key Safe, details of which are emailed the week before arrival.

Arrival is anytime from 3.00pm on start day of holiday ( but we text you for earlier access, if the apartment is ready for you....this is most times from 12.00 on, but we cannot always guarantee)

Departure is always by 10.00am at the end of the holiday.

The apartment accommodates 4 plus a baby and a high chair and large travel cot are available. Full size cot can be hired at an extra of £50 per week.

All bedding is supplied plus towels, but not beach towels.
Cot bedding is not supplied, but can be hired as an extra if required.
Additional laundry and cleaning supplement of £75 applies if less that 5 days are

    This apartment is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are a good size, and it is very well maintained. located on the ground floor, we felt safe and secure.The location is ideal for exploring. It is within walking distance to the beach.There is a train station 1 minute away, which is 1 stop away from St Ives station.Our hosts Jane and Doug were very resourceful. Lots of information was provided via email, and in the apartment. They reassured us we could contact them at anytime if needed.We had a great time. I would definitely recommend

    We are return visitors to the apartment. We love the location to the railway and being so close to St Ives and the parking space makes everything so easy! Jane and Doug provide all the essentials which is great if you are travelling light and they are great at keeping in touch . We would definitely book a return visit!

    Our stay at Azure was exceptional. Jane & Doug are wonderful hosts and went above and beyond by offering suggestions on places to eat, things to do, etc. They even left a sweet card and bottle of bubbly for our 25th Anniversary! The flat itself was super clean, well appointed and comfortable. The location could not be more perfect - only steps away from the train station, beach access, and the footpath to St. Ives. The coastal walk from Azure to St. Ives is incredibly beautiful. (pics attached) I could go on & on, but suffice to say we HIGHLY recommend! Thank you, Jane & Doug. We hope to be back!

    Lovely apartment, very clean, modern and spacious with everything you need.The location is perfect, a short walk down to Carbis Bay and a quick cheap train ride to St Ives (the location couldn't be more convenient for the station). It is also a great location to access lots of other beautiful beaches in the area, Gwithian was another favourite of ours for bodyboarding and to see the seals.Communication with the owners was great.Would highly recommend this apartment and would love to return.

    This apartment is situated in an extremely brilliant location with just a short walk to the beach and next to the Carbis Bay station. It is clean and got everything we need, very friendly to the family travellers. Very clear instructions on how to access keys, parking etc. Would recommend this great apartment!

    This was an absolutely lovely location. Loved the property. Clean and family friendly. A lot of thought had obviously been put in to making your stay easy. Especially for a family that waaants to have low key nights in sometimes with a home cooked meal. Location was also brilliant. Near the supermarket and transport. Parking was available and it was a short walk to the beach and the amenities found there. There is no doubt in my mind that I would stay here again and again. If I must give a tip it would be to add the local transport that is nearby to the check-in directions. It was just a little hard to find after a long drive. If my mind had been fresh it would have been easier. I would just like to say here, thank you for such a wonderful stay.

    Great living space for a family of four. Lovely, clean apartment. The owners left lots of helpful extras - coffee, milk, loo rolls etc. Fantastic quiet location. A short (steep) walk down to the beach at Carbis Bay. Right next to the railway station for the 5 minute train ride into St. Ives or to St. Erth for main line connections elsewhere. 10 minutes drive from the main A30 dual carriageway if you want to explore more of west Cornwall. Great communication from the owners. We would highly recommend this property.

    Great apartment for a family stay , home from home all appliances there if needed . Hosts so friendly answered questions & left a welcome pack for us too. Clean and spacious . Walk down to beach is great but it’s a steep walk back up! Ideally located if you want to travel further afield on the train

    We loved our stay in this condo! The owners were so kind and great communicators, and the property was beautiful and in an ideal location. The furniture was comfortable and in great condition. We also had everything that we needed for cooking, as well as a lovely gift basket to welcome us. We loved being close to the path down to the beach, and it's helpful that there are restaurants right by the beach, as well as many restaurants and shops within an easy drive. We hope to have an opportunity to return in the future.

    The apartment is located right next to the station. We parked our car for the week and walked the coastal path to St Ives and Lelant (some nice quiet restaurants). We took the train to travel further afield to Penzance and Falmouth. Accommodation was excellent and had all the amenities we needed for a pleasant stay.

    Excellent communication with hosts who were also very accommodating and flexible regarding check in time. Welcome pack on arrival. Car parking very close to accommodation making it easy to unload/load. Lovely views from the apartment and also from the patio area. Train station a couple of minutes walk away and not too steep to negotiate. Very easy to access St Ives on train, didn’t need car for the 3 days we were there. We did also walk along coastal path from Carbis Bay to St Ives which was lovely but uphill in parts….much easier by train! Apartment was very comfortable and spacious with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and stress free.
