Stayed Aug 24, 2024This apartment is in a great location with easy access to downtown, the beach, parks, eateries and services. The apartment was well furnished and the beds and pillows comfortable. We did have a few issues: 1) at check in there was no person at the door as the check-in instructions indicated. Rather, a sheet of paper stating to call a number. Luckily another vacationer showed up at the same time and called to get instructions on how to open a lock box with a code to get the key. I wish these would have just been included in the check in instructions as we weren't prepared to make phone calls abroad. 2) the key fob for building entry and unit entry is a bit outdated. It usually worked for the exterior doors but for our unit sometimes things would get so locked up that my partner on the *inside of the unit* had difficulty opening the door. 3) the unit was only furnished with 1 roll of toilet paper and we were refused any other toilet paper. In my 35 countries of travel... I've never been only given one roll of toilet paper! Especially for a family staying for 4 or 5 nights! This was unbelievable and we were told we had to buy our own toilet paper. Hand soap and dish soap were provided. 4) the location of our unit was across the street from the bus stop and it was impressive how many people have late night (11pm) chats out there. We sleep with ear buds so not an issue but worth being aware of.
