Luxurious 3 Bedroom Apartment in Chicago

It was quite cold in Chicago during our stay, but the apartment was nice and warm! The space is huge and the hosts were very communicative. The location is great - lots of food options and the L nearby. The apartment felt fairly clean overall, but the towels and sheets were a bit stained and the floors and doors were a bit squeaky. Overall, it is a great place to stay for a trip of any length!

Overall a good stay. Everything was nice and clean. The pack n play was missing the hard back insert so we were not able to use. Was able to find parking out front most of the time. Great location! Owner was kind and communicative.

Our stay was perfect. The place was so clean and perfect distance from where we wanted to visit. The beds were comfy. Neighborhood was quiet. Parking was free, but it was street parking so you have to be able to find a spot. (Not a reflection on the place at all!) We loved it! Will definitely visit again!!

Our host Emre was very responsive and respectful. The apartment is in such a fun boho ish neighborhood with good restaurants and coffee shops. 10 minute walk to the L. Street parking but we didn’t have any issues. Overall, great stay.

Everything was perfect.

Host was super nice, greeted us and said goodbye when we left. Place was clean, gorgeous layout, excellent living room area if you’re coming with a group of friends and want to hang out at night and decompress.

The apartment and the host were great. The apartment is 8min away from a train station, we didn’t need to rent a car to get anywhere. Besides that, Emre was a great host ready to assist us with anything that we needed!

Honestly the best place ever

Everything was amazing, very clean, and the host was great! Such a beautiful place in a great area. I’d recommend to everyone. An issue that occurred, was the door to one bedroom got jammed twice and was difficult to get out. A small issue but I’d be cautious if kids were staying or you were staying alone. I would 1000% stay here again though, and we enjoyed the nearby places within walking distance! The host also left k cup and creamer, plenty of towels, toilet paper, and paper towels. Loved everything so much!!!!

Had a great stay. The place was clean. Beds were a little uncomfortable for me and the rest of the family said the same. The twin bed was a futon but slept well. Neighborhood was nice. Sirens all night but we are from Montana in the country and just not use to that. We did have a great stay.

Spacious place and clean, I liked the old architecture feel. There are plenty of shops, market, restaurants, coffee shops. Finding parking wasn't too bad but be prepared to walk.

Myself and two brothers took our mom to Chicago for her 70th birthday to catch a show and see some sights downtown. We all loved how comfortable the stay was, great beds, nice space to hang out, clean bathroom. To location is close to the transit system so we had no issue taking a train into town and rideshares had no issue getting us home. This is not a corporate owned place, the owners are on the lower floors and were not only super nice but were able to offer us a little flexibility. It's close to some delicious restaurants (m.henry was outstanding), bakeries, and grocery stores. A walk down one street gets you to the lake, another to fun shopping.

This is a great place to stay. It’s a well maintained spacious place and a perfect place for your Chicago neighborhood adventures, especially in Andersonville. It’s within walking distance to Clark and everything in between. The host was available right away when we had a question. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again if I need to be in the area.

This was a very nice apartment in a great area. The family that owns it is kind, helpful, and responsive to concerns. The central air was broken the weekend we were there, but they attempted repair and added window units prior to our arrival. They responded quickly when it was still too warm, adding a floor unit as well. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Pros: It was very easy to reach the owner, as he lives on the property. He was very responsive and willing to help us. Cons: There was no washing machine or dryer on the premises. Also be aware that the apartment is on the top floor with lots of steps.

Great location & comfy space.

The unit is in a great location close to the redline with a Jewel just a few blocks away. It was a great space for a Loyola visit with our daughter and a Cubs game with friends!

cozy and clean, no frills with nice decor and bright spaces. it felt a little hard to cool down in the heat of summer, but it didn’t really impact our stay. despite sharing the building with two other units, we never heard anyone else (just caught wiffs of some yummy cooking on our way out!) neighborhood is cute for shops and restaurants.

Great apartment! Had everything we needed, very easy check in and out. The only issue we had was finding parking on the street.

Only slightly long winded The good: when we arrived the apartment was 80 degrees inside with all the AC units on, not the good part. I messaged the owner and he had an additional window unit installed the same day which kept the temperatures at a manageable 72 degrees if they ran continuously. Beds were soft and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of pillows on each bed too. Check in was easy and smooth. Close to a lot of restaurants, and close to public transportation pick up’s. Free parking if you’re home early enough to get a spot. The bad: the listing says washer and dryer included in the rental. It is not. Not only is it advertised, but I messaged the owner prior to booking and he confirmed the washer and dryer was there. I asked the owner who lives in the building and he recommended using a laundromat, which is what we had to do because we had planned on washing clothes at the apartment. It was not overly clean either. There were seasonings left on the counter from previous tenants. There wasn’t broom or a mop either which was inconvenient. If we’d known about the washer and dryer we would not have booked in the first place. The ugly: the apartment is pretty outdated and the living room furniture is very uncomfortable. There is only one TV in the apartment so if you want to unwind after a long day of walking that’s probably where you’ll end up. The only AC is the window units, I’m not from Chicago but many buildings have window units so I guess that’s the norm.

The space is clean, open and bright. It definitely looks good in pictures but the reality is a bit different inside. The unit has plenty of space to stretch out and be comfortable. The towels are great. The drawbacks are that it appears to be a “quick flip” where they’ve applied a fresh coat of paint and bought a bunch of fake plants to fill the corners. It’s a sloppy job, at best, and definitely not “luxurious” as the listing suggests. Worst of all is the a/c (or lack of). There are window a/cs in every bedroom that run non-stop and still don’t fully cool down two of the rooms. If you’re a light sleeper, you’ll have a tough time getting rest. The main living area has a portable a/c unit that is not attached to the exterior venting and so it blows as much hot air into the room as it does cool air. And the home’s central a/c is nothing more than a fan that ran the entire time we were there. All in all, a great location but an apartment that lacks the advertised luxury and charm.

Third floor apartment (be prepared for steep, narrow stairs) in an older brownstone that is not quite as advertised. Neighborhood is great, close to a couple of restaurants and a great coffee shop. Walk to red line station is about 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately, the unit just feels like a tired old place with some new paint. Bathroom floor tile is cracked with dirty grout; tub enamel is worn in places, and the faucet pushes out of the wall leaving exposed pipe. Toilet ran the entire stay, and while the owner was super responsive, they admitted that they had known it was an issue and would fix it after our stay. Kitchen has newer sink and backsplash, but older appliances and old worn looking cabinets. Biggest issue for us was the whole unit air conditioning never kept up with the summer heat and most of our stay the inside temp was between 80 and 85 degrees. While each bedroom had a window AC unit that helped, the front bedroom never really seemed to cool enough for a comfortable nights sleep. It was frustrating to not be able to spend much time in the main living space because it was so stuffy and hot. Not at all what I expect from a place advertised as updated and luxurious. The ad for this unit also lists a washer and dryer, but these were definitely not anywhere to be found. Overall I would say that the place is okay, but I would avoid it in the summer, and would definitely not stay if you are looking for luxurious and truly updated.

While the air conditioning was not cooling real well, the host provided multiple fans which made our stay more comfortable. We loved the location and general comfort of the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family. It is on the third floor so you do have several stairs. The apartment is very comfortable. There are places to park on the street. We were able to find a spot very close. The beds are comfortable and our family really enjoyed our stay. From the apartment, we could get to the L or to the bus stop easily. High recommend and we hope to visit again in the future! Thank you!

This is a super-cute 3 bedroom apartment, very clean (with a couple of tiny exceptions I discovered by accident. They were clearly innocent oversights.) This is a great neighborhood, felt very safe, close to restaurants and coffee shops. The air conditioning was not working. The first night there, (we arrived quite late at night) was awful. There were fans in the bedrooms, but I didn't want to leave the windows open at night. The next day we opened the windows to cool off, and it was much more comfortable. But we were there during very cool days in mid-May. I could not imagine being there in the summer. The only other thing that was off was that there was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. We ran out the morning we were leaving. On the whole, we had a lovely stay.

Seeing this listing posted just a week ago, we were excited to be so close to Andersonville. The apartment was cozy, beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and neighborhood was quiet. We truly enjoyed our stay for the weekend and will definitely return to stay again!
