Mardi Gras parades roll past your front yard. The heated pool shimmers out back. And Magazine Street's parade of cafés, galleries, and neighborhood life is just steps away. This restored first-floor unit is where New Orleans energy meets genuine comfort - a place to settle in, spread out, and experience the city the way locals do.

Living space
The open living and dining area sets the tone: warm, relaxed, and ready for six. Historic windows let in soft light, ceiling fans keep the air moving, and a 55 HDTV with Roku is on hand when you want to wind down. A dedicated workspace - in a private room with a door - means those who need to stay productive have their own corner. Central air conditioning and central heating keep things comfortable year-round.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms sleep up to six guests, each dressed with plush bed linens and room-darkening shades for restful nights. Clothing storage includes walk-in closet, closet, and dresser options. A safe, iron, and hangers round out the practical touches. Families traveling with little ones can request a Pack 'n Play and folding high chair, and babysitter recommendations are available upon request.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking. You'll find a Frigidaire refrigerator, Whirlpool electric stove, Whirlpool single oven, microwave, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, and cooking basics - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper. Gather at the dining table inside or take your meal to the outdoor dining area when the weather invites it.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, and fresh towels. Both include a bathtub, and hot water is always on tap.

Outdoor living
The backyard is a genuine retreat. A private heated pool - open all year, 24 hours, and stocked with pool toys - sits within a fully fenced yard surrounded by lush greenery and a lemon tree. Outdoor furniture, a gas BBQ grill, and an outdoor dining area make it easy to spend an entire evening outside without leaving the property. Out front, the porch with rocking chairs is made for slow mornings and people-watching.

Practical extras
In-unit washer and dryer, free parking on premises, and free street parking cover the essentials. The property is single-level with no stairs. A smart lock enables self check-in, and cleaning services are available during your stay. Home safety features include exterior Ring security cameras by the front door, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit.

Location
The unit sits steps from Magazine Street's stretch of independent shops, cafés, and galleries. The French Quarter and the Superdome are a short ride away. When Mardi Gras arrives, parade routes pass directly in front of the house - just five feet from your yard - giving you an unbeatable front-row seat without ever leaving home.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

I received a text thanking me for booking, I immediately asked about the pool because that was the main attraction.I requested to have it warmed which they tell you to ask about the heating in advance. When we got there it was dirty and cold.I didn't get a response until the next day but they sent someone right over.We wasn't able to enjoy it at night because it was cold. The hanging lights in the backyard doesn't work,I asked about it as well.I feel like the house is overpriced for them not to make sure everything works before a guest stay

Right on Magazine Street but not loud — walk to The Boulangerie for breakfast! House is beautiful and clean. Beds comfortable. But house sleeps six and has only a few glasses and 5 plates. Master shower is very nice but with an overhead rain type shower head with very little water pressure — hard to rinse out the shampoo. Would be nice to have better shampoo/conditioner. Lots of towels which is great! No drawers/dresser in bedroom so couldn’t unpack other than hanging clothes (about a dozen coat hangers) Would stay here again but hope it was restocked and maybe a better shower setup.

Great place. Some of the windows had no locks on them. Kind of scary. Plus someone rang the doorbell at 2 am…. Security light came on. Place is very nice. Windows need to have locks
