Stayed Aug 7, 2019Very disappointed with the second bedroom as there were substantial places on the walls that were damp. Paint and plaster were blistered and peeling off the wall and the bedding felt damp. The manager was contacted immediately and someone came to view the damp patches. Alternative accommodation was not offered and it was impossible to treat the damp with us sleeping in the room. We had to move one of the single beds away from the damp wall in order to sleep. I don’t think this property should be available to rent until the damp is fixed . This is the first time I have used Homeaway but I am not sure I would use them again as I have not yet been offered any recompense by Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages who manage the property.

Stayed May 13, 2019The property was excellent and well equipped. Situation excellent for exploring Aldeburgh and the local area. Lovely sunny patio. Excellent walks from the cottage along the river.
