Lovely Sea View Apartment Lido di Ostia, 30 minutes from center of Rome, Wi-Fi

Spacious, well located in Ostia. Nice area. Train to Rome for us was around 45 minutes. It was nice that it was far from so many people, only down side for us is that we are night owls and the last train back was 10pm. Great for longer stays, house is comfortable and clean.

He met us at the property and we even got lucky and he held a parking spot for us since it was available when he called us. Very cute apartment that cozily fit all 5 of us. Air-conditioning worked great. Two minisplit systems that cooled us down at night perfectly. Clean and comfy. We loved our stay and how close to food and the beach it was. Don't pass this one up. Book it!

Stayed here 3 nights at the end of an Umbrian trip so we coulr have a couple of days on the beach and be close to the airport for an early flight. It all worked well amd the flat is a great location and well equipped as well as reasonable value. Recommend.

Wonderful property for staying if you want to get away from the busy atmosphere of Rome for a few nights. Clean, great view and the owner, Domenico couldn't be more helpful. The location is great with a short walk to the sea!! Lots of shops and restaurants. Very highly recommend the apartment as well as working with the owner.

This apartment was a charming, cheerful place to chill! And, it seemed bigger than 538sq.ft. It's also in a Great location; near restaurants, grocers, flea markets and places of historical interest. The cool seaport, beach and long, coastal pedestrian path and bike trail is also a short, walking distance away.Domenico was very welcoming, cordial and helpful. He educated us on the surrounding area. He actually had a map of the region and took the time to explain what and where things were. He didn't rush the process. He wanted to answer any questions we had. Domenico also kept communication going-via texts-to lay out transportation options. Fyi- There isn't a microwave. There is no lift for luggage; it's your muscle up the stairs.

Beautiful Beach Getaway

What a lovely place in a quant seaside town. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I stayed at Dom’s place and we had a great time . We asked if we could check in early and bc he was unable to meet us , his mom came and let us in . Which was so kind . Lots of great choices for eating and do NOT skip going to the archaeological site . The apt was super clean and a nice place to call home for a short stay .The beach / pier is 5-7mins walk and there were musicians playing and singing at the pier in the late afternoons/ evening .It was fun ! I highly recommend Doms place bc it was very clean and close to many eatery’s and lots of gelato choices . We sat out at the town square and enjoyed Cuoppa Mars ( fried calamari in a paper cone ) Weather was awesome ( high 60s) We’d def stay here again .

Domenico was so helpful. His place is in a great neighbourhood accessible to groceries, coffee shops, local markets, and great restaurants. The place is exactly as described and well equipped for a family or couple’s vacation. Thanks Domenico!

This was a very nice one room flat with a nice view. The host was very helpful and friendly. Lots of shops nearby. This apartment was on the third floor so it was a workout the first day. However once settled in we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again.

If you're going to Italy, stay here. It's much better than the stress of the big city. And you can get to Rome quickly. Everything was absolutely perfect.

The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, always available to answer any questions and provide helpful local tips. The neighborhood is safe and lively, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore both Ostia and Rome. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with the option to explore the cultural riches of Rome nearby. We can’t wait to come back!

Apartment was modern, clean and comfortable.

A very nice apartment in Ostia that has everything you need. The house is located very conveniently, there are shops and restaurants nearby, 5 minutes walk to the sea. The owner of the apartment, Domenico, is a very good person. He met us ahead of check-in time and allowed us to check out later. We also had a problem with luggage. Our luggage was lost during transit and Domenico helped resolve the issue of finding the luggage and delivering it to us. Domenico thank you very much!

This was the 3rd time that my family stayed in Domenico's apartment in Lido di Ostia. We just love it here! It's a short walk to the beach and the train station. Easy free parking. There are shops, restaurants, cafés, groceries and markets right outside the building. This stay is so convenient! We always feel right at home. The bed is very comfortable, there is AC in the bedroom and living area, the shower pressure is fantastic, there's a washing machine and very good wifi. I couldn't find a better place to stay and we'll surely stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

The apartment was just as advertised. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable. Dom our host was quite helpful with getting us acclimated. He had a map of the train system for Rome and explained the metro and how to navigate. His expertise of the neighborhood and surrounding area enhanced our stay. As we discovered, there are excellent restaurants within a couple of blocks of the apartment. It was just what we were looking for during the first part of our Rome vacation.
