Over one hundred years ago, it used to be a hotel, but now it's home to some of the coolest lofts in all of Des Moines and steps away from the best coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, farmers market, theatre, concert venues and ballpark! The unit is a perfect blend of modern sophistication with the vibrant energy of city living.

Instead of a traditional bedroom, enjoy a one-of-a-kind open-air loft with a cozy bed aboveand ladder access for a touch of adventure. While there isn’t an assigned parking space, the owner frequently stays here and has always been able to find free overnight street parking within a two-block walk. There is also a Schwinn bike in the unit that you can use for grocery shopping, cruising the city and more! Take advantage of complimentary laundry on your floor and stream your favorite shows with Netflix, Paramount+, Peacock, and other services.

The building doesn’t allow lockboxes, so the owner’s property manager or cleaner will meet you in person to hand over the keys.

Note: two of the three windows don't open but the heating and and air conditioning is extremely efficient, keeping you comfortable year-round. This unit is not pet-friendly and guests staying fewer than 3 months will not receive a mailbox key.
