Lovely, brand new, fully equipped studio in North Berkeley, stunning views of the bay

Loved our stay in the Berkeley Hills. Very comfortable bed and pillows, lovely linens, cozy and flexible space. Sweet to be greeted in person by Tal and shown around, along with a bottle of wine and a fresh cake! Liked that there was a full kitchen set up and games - we were out so much that we didn't have much chance to take advantage of those, but that meant we were enjoying the area. I'd say laundry is helpful in a pinch, but two-in-washer/dryers don't work super well in general. Not a big deal - a plus if needed and maybe not something I'd count on using again if we return. Would stay here again for sure - thank you!

Lovely and intimate place close to Peet's, shops, and restaurants. Great mattress and pillows. The hosts are sweet and very responsive.

Yes the hosts were very communicative and welcoming. Lovely fresh cake, wine and chocolates upon arrival. I would only caution future guests that there are step stairs leading to the studio. It would not be appropriate for someone with mobility issues.

Just lovely. Clean, modern, hosts were easily accessible if necessary. We didn’t need them. Nice view of city. Excellent choice. Glad we stayed although the 22?steps up were a bit challenging for 2 80 yr old women. We’ll be back.

Very comfortable space. Was wonderful to come back to after daytime activities. Washer/dryer proved very useful. Bed was very comfortable and warm and night. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful cosy studio with all the amenities, the outside table is a nice bonus and there is also a view of the bay from the porch!There have nice kitchen appliances and utensils.The hosts are very caring and brought us a delicious treat.The bus stop is in front of the house if you want to explore further.We would certainly come back, I would highly recommend it.

Great studio space right in beautiful Berkeley! Very comfortable, clean and the hosts were so nice!! They made us feel right at home!! Perfect place to stay to see the sights from Napa to Sausalito and in between!! Highly recommended!

Lovely with a peekaboo view of San Francisco. The studio has been expertly designed. Eli and Tal are wonderful hosts and respond quickly to any needs. They went above and beyond to welcome me.

Super cute & cozy...quiet & comfortable. Neighborhood is homey and easy to access all things Berkeley. A warm baked treat was waiting for me upon my arrival, which was such a sweet surprize. Will bookmark stay for when my sophomore moves back up to school and we come in for a visit.

The communication I had before coming to California was both prompt and comprehensive. His availability while we were at this property were exactly the same--he was available and answered my questions clearly.So ... both the process and outcome were excellent.

Nicely renovated basement studio. One caution is that it is up two flights of stairs.

It was a central location for us to visit San Francisco, Moraga, Milpitas, Bodega Bay, Santa Rosa, El Cerrito, etc.The owners put a lot of care and thought in the quality of materials and design of the space used in remodeling it for a VRBO. Plenty of street parking, great binder of info/instructions.It is close to shops, grocery stores and restaurants.The owners had a wonderful, tasty apple dessert and shared the recipe. They also provided a lovely bottle of wine.Quick response to questions by email and text.We enjoyed our stay so much, we were able to book the place for another stay.If you are a senior with limited mobility, be aware there are stairs you'll need to climb to get to the VRBO unit.We highly recommend - quiet/ peaceful respite.

The studio apartment is very clean, comfortable and pretty well laid out. It's on a fairly busy street but we didn't notice an abundance of noise. I heard a garbage truck, but not really anything else. Two things to take note of: 1. If you want to do laundry, it's a combination washer and dryer. It doesn't have a lot of capacity and it takes quite a while to do a cycle2. There are several stairs from the street up to the apartment. If you have trouble with stairs, you may want to look elsewhere. Those things noted, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time I'm in the area.

We like to visit our grandchildren in Berkeley. This studio is in the perfect location for us and has everything we need to feel at home.

I rated this property good rather than great because it lacked light and while it advertised a view of the bay that was limited to a small window. However the hosts were gracious and helpful. The location was excellent and the property well equipped and maintained. The price was very fair.

Everything you could hope for in a studio and more. Loved the apple cake upon arrival and other treats. Great location, as I walked to everything I needed.

Popped in town for a concert that I promised to my kid and stayed again! Great communication and so nice to be in this perfectly located Berkeley gem! Thanks again Eli & Tal! ♥️

We enjoyed our stay so much. The view from the kitchen window is beautiful overlooking the bay. We even found a bottle of wine and homemade apple cake waiting for us. Cute and clean just as advertised. Minor suggestion would be to provide a lighter weight blanket for the bed. The down comforter in the closet is too heavy for fall nights. Highly recommend this charming place!

This place is small, space for no more than two people. The Hosts were communicating well and the space is well equipped for light cooking, but you are walking distance from the best restaurants in Berkeley.

Enjoyed ourselves, but we are seniors so the stairs were a bit much and a king size bed would be better. Overall, it was good and the goodies on arrival were great!

Eli made our stay welcomed and comfortable. The studio is charming and fully equipped with the little extras (such as the bath toiletries and kitchen appliances) and full privacy that made my daughter and I feel at home. Upscale and lovely neighborhood. Will come back here for sure.

The property is lovely, the location is great and check in process was super easy. Could have stayed another few nights!

Everything was as good as it could be and there were so many little extra things that made me feel comfortable including a sponge still wrapped in its original packaging and a delicious fresh-baked apple treat and chocolates on the little table. The studio is extremely private too. WOW! best rental I've ever enjoyed.

Great location! Beautiful view and a perfect place for us to visit our son in Berkeley and go to a show at the Greek Theater on campus. Easy to find free parking. Host is very nice and even baked us a treat! Will definitely return!

Really loved this place and the hosts Tal and Eli were so nice! Great location with good street parking. Washer/dryer was a real bonus for a studio. And short walks to indian Rock Park or Rose Garden. Hope to return. returnbacnext time we are in town

I truly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful studio in Berkeley. I stayed for a week and loved the location and the view. The owners are very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if your looking for a home away from home.
