Lovely Apartment,Top Central Location! Sunny Terrace, Scenic Glimpse of the Lake

Ambra was a lovely host, very attentive, responsive and helpful. We’ve received amazing advice about what to see around the lake and how best to get around using local transport.

Terrifc location--traveling in Italy for 2-1/2 months without a car--a 5 minute walk to the lake...which is gorgeous...10 minutes to the grocery store, 15 to the laundromat (we stayed 4 weeks) and wonderful walking through the neighborhoods and nearby villages. Ambra is a knowledgeable and attentive hostess; she & Claudio live below keeping their yard and patio neat as a pin. Our unit was immaculate and well stocked...even with a dish towel! We enjoyed the balcony and view so much.

The location of the apartment is perfect to go around lake Como. Lenno is a small and very nice village and restaurants are very close to the flat. We enjoyed the visits nearby, the practicity of having restaurants and supermarkets at immédiate walking distance. Ambra is a perfect host with a perfect apartment! Florence

This was a beautiful place to stay in a lovely, quiet part of Lake Como. We were in walking distance to cafes, the promenade and the boat taxi. Ambra was a great and helpful host. The apartment was in excellent condition, just as pictured. We would stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay at Ambra's house. However, the first night the heating was not on despite very low temperatures outside and our baby caught a cold. If you have a baby or small child think about bringing along a blanket/carpet for the floor or a chair. Furthermore, we were surprised by the cleaning fee which have to be paid extra in cash at the arrival. When booking something we expect that the cleaning fee is included.

We had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. Its much larger than it appears on the photographs and is beautifully decorated and obviously loved. It is very well appointed and immaculately clean. We spent many a happy hour sipping drinks on the balcony with views of the lakes and mountains The location was perfect, with a few really nice restaurants a 5 minute walk away, some on the edge of the lake. The ferry terminal is only a short walk from the apartment (max 10 mins) and the terminal is very well served by boats to all the major lake locations/ attractions and with Lenno being half way up the lake its a really great location that makes eveything within reach. Ambra (the host) is wonderful - avaliable for advice when needed but never obtrusive. We loved chatting about the best places around the lake or to eat and she really helped make our short trip into Milan, when the weather was poor, easy with some great advice on where to park to jump the short train in. We loved Lake Como and we will be back. We would stay here in heartbeat - my worry is that its just never avaiable as it's so good!

Very nice flat!

The apartment of Ambra is very large and spotless clean, newly decorated. As shown on the photo's. Ambra is living downstairs and available for all information. She is very kind and gives a lot of valuable advice, such as restaurant bookings, excursions, bus and boat advice. The apartment is less than 5 minutes walk to the Lungolago, and had a private parking spot, which is invaluable at Lake Como. During day time it is hard to park anywhere at Lake Come, so take the bus or boat, both in a very short walking distance of te apartment. Lenno is a beautiful small town. Lenno has the perfect balance between not being too crowdy but has a lot to offer. We felt it was the nicest village to stay in at Lake Como. Close to everything. If you fancy a swim one day head to the lovely free beach (with inexpensive beach bar) of Porlezza, only 25 min by car (and plenty of free parking space). We highly recommend staying at Ambra's place to experience true Italian hospitality!

Ambra is just the most incredible host, and the apartment was absolutely beautiful. We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was by far the absolute best! It was clean, spacious, updated, and close to everything. We didn’t need to rent a car and our host, Ambra, was so attentive and kind. Thank you Ambra!!!
