‘Livin Wells' Retreat, 2 Mi to Drakes Island Beach

Room was clean, fun beachy decor, plenty of room, comfortable king size bed, nice size bathroom with two sinks. Eat in kichen was a great bonus. We really enjoyed our little getaway. Great price point as well!

The hosts were lovely and the place is adorable, but this is not ideal for a late fall/winter rental unless the heating can be improved upon. In warmer weather, I highly recommend it.

The room was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean.

We did not go to the pool. We spent a lot of time walking, shopping, and eating. Everything is convenient and nearby. Unfortunately, we left a few pieces in our condo but the host is mailing them to us. Thank you to all who work to make this a nice place to vacation.

We couldn’t have been happier about choosing this rental for our vacation. It was so cute and clean, we truly felt it was home away from home. They even left us a little welcome gift. We will be back!! Thank you guys so much.

It was perfect. Got to relax and sit in the screened in porch and read. Was only ten minutes ride to the cliff house where we attended a wedding. Also, great thrifting and antique stores right across the street. Very short ride to Perkins cover. Would stay there again and recommend

Adorable place! So nice to be able to sit outside at night.

First, the location was good, away from hustle and bustle if that’s what you prefer. Liked the corner unit. Unit is small which is understandable. My first complaint is the door window that someone on top floor can see into room. Be careful if you are getting dressed! Same for window in shower, keep shower curtain closed. I recommend installing a curved shower curtain so it does not stick to you in small shower. Side tables by bed are very small! The rugs will trip you. A large area rug would be better than all the little rugs that won’t stay in place yet partially tacked down. The TV should be on a swivel so you can see from seating area. Lamp on dresser was not working. A fan over bed would be nice. Had to crank air low to cool bedroom off. And lastly, please spring for 2 ply toilet paper! The internet was too glitchy causing tv not to work.

Well, when we got thereThe keypad didn't work and we couldn't get in there. Was nobody on-site to let us in? We called the number and they couldn't help us said we had to get a room for the night. This was at two a m in the morning.We sat in the parking lot2 hours after we got in the room, the next day we found that there was no provisions for hanging clothes. No closet, so we had a hangover hanging clothes in the bathroom. The light over the sink. Where's a little battery operated light which was just about dead. After that, we had an enjoyable stay, had great weather. And lots of things to do and visit.

It was as beautiful as described

We were concerned about staying on such a busy street but it was not a concern once we were settled in. When my husband and I first walked in the room, we were very impressed with the cozy cottage warm homey feel that we got from this lovely space. I really felt like the owners cared about their property and who would be staying there. They left information about the area which was helpful as well. We would recommend anyone to give it a try and bet that they would enjoy it as much as we did.
