Live Siena from the very top

The apartment was beautiful, well appointed, well situated in a wonderful neighborhood. All appliances worked. The view from the terrace is possibly the best in all of Tuscany.

Have just had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The views from the roof terrace as well as some of the main rooms towards the cathedral and tower were stunning. Apartment was much bigger than we expected. Lovely old furniture. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Great location - short walk to the heart of the city but also in a peaceful spot. Would love to return. Siena is fabulous!

Huge house with a good location in an amazing town.

Although we were intrigued by the photos and the property description on VRBO, nothing prepared us for the stunning majesty of the live views from this apartment out every window! Not to mention the small but perfect rooftop terrace which must have one of the best views in the city. (Caution: narrow, steep stairs to the Terrace but worth it.) The location was also superb, a short walk to the famous Piazza del Campo city square through narrow and incredibly charming streets. The apartment feels very spacious with two full bedrooms and living areas as described. Our host, Monica, met us in person at the unit which we appreciated. She gave us a full tour and list of contact phone #, taxi #, etc. The table was stocked with books, maps and guides to Siena & Italy which was a nice touch. The only possible downside could be that it is a 4th floor walkup and getting luggage up may be difficult for some people. For us, the pain quickly went away when we looked out the window. Be sure to flip on the stairwell light. The shower is small as seems to be the case everywhere in Italy. OK, must admit the towels were rough and scratchy. Was nice to see there is a washing machine. Also admit we really didn't test out the kitchen, the bars and restaurants of Siena were calling. We were so happy to have spent our way too short but magical time in Siena. Lastly, we felt that the price of this unit was very reasonable and we give it 5 stars. Richard & Erica

We felt very fortunate to have found Monica's lovely and large apartment. We were there for 3 nights, and it was the perfect place to stay while in Siena. Our train was really late, but she accommodated us, and met us at the apartment for the tour. This is, by far, the largest place we stayed during our one-month journey through France and Italy. It was a sanctuary for us, especially the outside deck, which overlooks the entire town. The apartment was very well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Thank you Monica!

Great location, it is really city center, 2 minutes from good restaurants, shops and of course main places in Siena - Duomo and Campo piazza. It is very big and interesting apartment with a plenty of rooms and roof terrace. We were with 2 kids - they could not stop playing there. Monica is very nice and helpful, special thanks to her! Spectaculars Siena views from all windows, comfortable beds and good kitchen with equipment with drinkable water filter. Parking was not a problem - we found a good free parking very close to city gate. It was really great time and if we will return to Sienna we would like to choose this apartment only!

This is an amazing property with views over Siena and the surrounding countryside. It is on the third floor, so best for people who are quite mobile. The apartment has everything you need - perhaps too much, in a way, since it has two dining areas. Might be better to create more space for relaxing. It is very well appointed and spotlessly clean for such a venerable building. As in many places in Italy, the WiFi seems to be rather slow. Just something to get used to. We were a little surprised to be asked to pay the full amount before we arrived, but Monica was unfailingly helpful in all respects, and, hopefully, the payment plan will sort itself out as the owners gain more experience. Would definitely recommend this for a stay in Siena.
