**EXTENSIVE RENOVATION COMPLETED APRIL 2022**
We took advantage of the slow travel time and just completed a completed a massive remodel. Renovation includes entirely new kitchen, bathroom, floors, doors, windows and added a dishwasher and full washer and dryer! Our old historic home has all the modern amenities you need!
**This is the perfect rental during your grad school internship or grandparents wanting to stay close (but not too close) to family!**
We are so excited you are considering spending your holiday in San Francisco! We know you'll love it as much as we do! Our house has an attached apartment with a separate entrance and we'd like to invite you to make it your home during your vacation!
It's a charming one bedroom, one bathroom in a historic 1870's Victorian! Ideal for a single traveler or couple it has a queen sized bed, large flat screen HDTV, fully stocked kitchen that's open to the living area along with central heat and a gas fireplace to keep you warm on our chilly San Francisco nights!
No matter if it's museums you love, restaurants you crave or shopping you desire, we are centrally located in Pacific Heights. Walk to Sacramento Street or Fillmore Street for some of the best shopping and restaurants in town and less then two blocks away, you'll find the beautiful Alta Plaza park! The MUNI bus lines (24 Divisadero (North/South), 1 California (East/West), 22 Fillmore (North/South) and 43 Masonic (North/South)) are within strolling distance or an Uber can pick you up at your doorstep and take you where ever you'd like to go.
We look forward to sharing our beautiful city with you!
Had an absolutely incredible stay in this lovely garden apartment - it felt like a true home! The place had everything we needed and the owner was fantastic and helpful throughout our stay making it as comfortable as possible. I also have to mention how comfortable the couch + blanket combination was - it made for a great place to come back to after exploring the city. Perfect location and safe neighborhood with some street parking too! Thank you very much!
Great location, quaint SF Victorian apt, considerate hosts, and space perfect for 2 pp. Highly recommend.
i really enjoyed my stay, the location was great, the house full of Victorian charm and the apartment was a great size for the area, good value for money and it was really quiet at night which I really enjoyed as I was on a business trip
The apartment had all the amenities mentioned in the listing and Katie was quick to provide any sundries we ran out of. It is on a somewhat busy street during the day but is quite quiet inside because the apartment is set back with a pretty rose garden in front. There are several coffee shops within a few blocks; also a supermarket and many restaurants on Filmore (just a few blocks more). In the other direction we walked to the Presidio which has many walking trails and beautiful views of the bay. A bus on California street took us out to Land's End and the Legion of Honor. We were delighted to be staying is such a pleasant place. Many thanks to Katie!
apartment was clean and everything inside was in good working order. The location was within easy walking distance of all of our needs and right on the bus line for easy access to the rest of the city.It is better than advertised and we plan on returning in September for another visit.Katie will make you feel welcome in San Francisco and the Pacific Heights area is unbeatable for a safe location surrounded by beautiful homes and parks.
The apartment was as listed and reviewed. The owners were extremely helpful and the property was well appointed and located. I will definitely be back soon.
This was our third stay at the Victoria garden apartment and we again found it to be very clean, comfortable and well maintained. It is convenient to public transportation and to many good restaurants. Katie was a very helpful hostess. We hope to return again to this property on a future visit to San Francisco. I spent 3 weeks in Katie`s apartment while visiting my children. The clean apartment has a nice size very well equipped with what I needed, was even able to prepare a dinner there. My assumption that it could be too noisy because of Divisadero Street was just an assumption, it is quiet during the night, and there is no other disturbing noise . Katie has been extremely helpful, towards my arrival and departure since I travelled from Europe, always responding to my questions. In short: I felt very comfortable staying in her apartment and communicating with her. There are restaurants down the street, but more so in the Filmore district, only a few blocks away by walking or bus or the other direction in Laurel Haights. Bus-stops are really only a few steps away, taking you to every direction. This place is ideal for visitors, who do not want to stay in the Center with all the other tourists and get some quiet time and explore the other side of San Francisco without the usual tourists. If you want to live like a local, this is the place. I like to recommend Katie's place and this location and hopefully I can be back. Thank you, Katie.
We had the pleasure of staying in Katie's apartment for 5 nights. The apartment is nice and clean and has good lighting. The neighborhood in Lower Pacific Heights is quiet and very nice with many beautiful homes. A short walk away is Lyon Street where the famous steps are if you want to do a great outdoor exercise when you're in town. Easy access to get to the Golden Gate Bridge to go to Sausalito and Marin County. Great place to stay and we look forward to hopefully staying there again in a future visit!
Very nice clean and comfortable apartment for 2. In an excellent location for visiting San Francisco close to local shops and restaurants and within easy reach of the sights. Getting around using Uber and Busses no problem and we felt very safe walking around the neighbourhood at night. Dealing with Katie was very easy and efficient.
