A 5-minute drive from Lake Varese, the apartment occupies an area of 155 commercial square meters to which are added 35 square meters of terrace. It is on two levels and is part of a villa dating back to 1908 of about 500 square meters surrounded by a 5000 square meter park. The villa, protected by the Superintendency of Fine Arts and the landscape, is decorated outside and parts of the interiorare preserved in their original structure.

The apartment is an independent unit that can accommodate up to 10 people.

The apartment is divided into two separate accommodations communicating through a door.

ACCOMMODATION 1 for 6 people with private entrance
Ground floor:

There is a free open carport (3 parking spaces for guests).
Guests also have free access to 2000 square meters of shared garden south of the villa. In the southern part of the park they can admire a row of prunus pissardii nigra and a hedge of photinia along the access road; along the fence that runs along the road, a hedge of prunus laurocerasus grows. Inside a large lawn. All plants are around 20 years old. The gate is automatic and opens with a remote control. At night it is illuminated. The access road is lit by numerous street lamps.

The villa is located in a residential area characterized by villas and parks. The surrounding area has great artistic and landscape interest and is also suitable for excursions and walks.

-Gazzada-Schianno, where you can admire Villa Cagnola, home to a museum, summer concerts and surrounded by a large park and Villa De Strens; The Church of the Holy Virgin of Loreto in Gazzada, 700 meters from the apartment which, like Villa Cagnola, organizes Sunday concerts in the summer months.
-Azzate with its eighteenth-century villas and the Belvedere on Lake Varese and the Monterosa;
-Buguggiate where you can admire the ancient church of Erbamolle;
-Brunello, home of the ancient Church of Santa Maria Annunciata, patrimony of the Italian Environment Fund;
-the fifteenth century village of Castiglione Olona, known for the Collegiate Church, for the Church of Villa and for the Palazzo Branda Castiglione.

    Very roomy, beautiful renovated old building. Large nice rooms with lots of place for your things. Nice equipped kitchen. Lovely bathroom. Very good beds. Good fast internet. Lovely host. A car is a must.

    This villa is very old and has a lot of character. It also has all of the modern conveniences anyone would want. The WiFi was very good as well as the kitchen and bathrooms being very modern. Very quiet location and a great spot for day trips to Milan, Como, Lugano, Bergamo and other cities. There is nothing right by this villa but there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants within 5 or 10 minutes drive. The owner, Piero, was very communicative and available when we needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back if we ever find ourselves in this area.
