L'ARENA - Most Prestigious Apartment in the Heart of the Historical Center

Beautiful apartment! Convenient location! Easy walk from the train station to the apartment. Carla, our host could not have been more welcoming! We were meet at the apartment and given a full tour and information. When the weather turned colder, she followed up to be sure the room temps were comfortable for us. The antique furnishing adds an elegant Italian feel. The secure access to the building and the security doors made us feel very safe. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen has everything you need. Great coffee shop right downstairs and many restaurants close by. A friend had recommended this apartment to us, and we are so glad she did! I would definitely recommend.

The location is great, convenient to open markets, shopping, restaurants and train station. The apartment is very clean and spacious. Unfortunately, it is a 3rd story and the apartments on 4th and 5th are very noisy as they are rented to students. Linens and towels are mix matched and you need to launder them yourself in the washing machine and line dry as provided. Unexpected costs upon arrival that you should know about. There is a tourism tax payable in cash per person, per day. We stayed for 30 days and had 2 friends stay for 5 nights and we had to pay 480.00 extra for the extra people and tourism tax of 130.00 euros which isn't explained on VRBO. They have books in English and Italian to enjoy, There is only 1 TV and it is not a smart TV. Internet is good. Enjoyed our stay just things you need to know before you go. Pictures are accurate.

Wonderful apartment close to everything. Well stocked kitchen, good washer, good bedding. We had a group of 7 and everyone was comfortable.

Spacious, clean, excellent location 10 minute walk to both Bologna Centrale train station (for easy day trip g around the region) and Piazza Maggiore and all the cool attractions! Many, many great local restaurants close by also! Host Carla was very helpful and communicative and arranged a mid-stay cleaning and also a very early taxi pick-up for us on departure day! Would definitely stay there again!

The location is excellent for wandering the streets of Bologna and taking in the sights. So many options for excellent food, shopping and day trips. Gret place for a larger group we were 7 adults and it was perfect, not sure how you'd get people until you had young children needing a cot/crib. The washer machine was a great addition. Kitchen is small but has everything you need . 2 bathrooms also a plus. You won't be disappointed.

The apartment was as shown in the photos. So much character, but with comfortable beds, and very well equipped. Its location on the main street of Bologna makes it so easy to walk everywhere. Carla met us with keys, and was very informative. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment in Bologna exceeded our expectations. Not only was it comfortable but easily accessible to everything you’d want to see and experience in Bologna. The hosts were extremely responsive and couldn’t have been more accommodating. I look forward to a return visit to this amazing apartment.

An American family who lived in Europe 2016-2018 rented many apartments in Italy, France and Spain. Also we are owners of a vacation rental in US. The location of the apartment is superb. The apartment is spacious and immaculate. The linens and towels are lovely. I would highly recommend L’Arena to a large group for a shortish stay. It a perfect accommodation . We booked it for 25 days. For that length I would highly recommend new mattresses and more comfortable living room seating.The owners were highly responsive to booking a taxi since the taxi co don’t recognize foreign phone numbers. I have also suggested a binder with suggestions, resources, recommendations and useful information. There are many great restaurants in the immediate area. It is also a fine shopping district. Bologna is a lively, authentic, safe Italian city. The food is incredible. If you are a large group don’t miss out ..stay at L’Arena

Everything was perfect! The owners were so sweet and welcoming. When we come back to Bologna, this is where we’ll stay.

The owners are gracious and kind, the apartment elegant and well maintained. The only downside was the street noise and cigarette smoke wafting up from the street. Bologna is a college town so weekends are noisy.

Amazing location in Bologna, right on the main shopping street. But noise canceling windows makes it so quiet. Perfect for families or larger groups looking to stay together in a city center - 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Parking garage outside of the ZTL only a few minute walk away (expensive but worth it if you are driving).

This lovely apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location cannot be beat.

We chose this property because of its location between Bologna Centrale and Piazza Maggiore. Our plan was to be able to reach the historic center of Bologna but also have access to the train station for day trips to some of the nearby cities particularly Parma and Ravenna. L'Arena is an absolutely beautiful apartment and is convenient to visitors who want to experience the best of Bologna and the surrounding area. We highly recommend staying at L'Arena.

We loved staying at this property! (There were 8 of us, 3 of whom are children.) The location is SO, SO convenient -- 10 minutes to the train station, 7 minutes to the City Centre. The hosts were outstanding in every way. I had a small medical issue soon after arriving, and they immediately shared helpful information with us. We struggled to get a taxi when our son needed to catch a super early flight home, ditto for us on a later date. The host went above and beyond to reserve the cab and use her number to be alerted of the early morning taxi arrival (3:30 a.m.!!!!) because the taxi company wouldn't accept our contact number. The apartment is spacious and has everyone one needs. And it has AC. We stayed for 28 days! Highly, highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

A Great space right in the old parrt of town. We feel very luckty to have found this apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 6 adults and two teens. The hosts were great and the location could not be better. Our entire family loved the place And location! We would highly recommend it, the kitchen is a little small but efficient and we were even able to cook a nice meal after shopping at the fresh fish market!

We loved this property! Situated on a fabulous street, it is close to restaurants, historic piazzas and great shopping. The property has loads of character and is well cared for. It is full of interesting antiques. Loved it!
