Landing | Beautiful 1BD, Clubhouse

Number one complaint about this property was the location. It states that it is a 1 min walk to the Mayo Clinic, it’s more like a 15 min drive. With several appointments spaced out, this was very inconvenient. Nothing is within walking distance. There is a gas station nearby if you wanted to walk across 4 lanes of traffic. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but parking was difficult and sometimes spots were hard to find close to the apartment. We didn’t find out the actual address (4800 seascape way) of the place or any codes until 3 hours before check in, which was hard to do since we were driving. I like to know door and gate codes ahead of time so we aren’t sitting at a locked gate trying to find what we need with cars behind us. Also, the way to hook your phone up to the door itself is tricky for those that aren’t very tech savvy. I would rather have a simple code or a key. Host didn’t have any communication with us when trying to ask about address or any other details. The place itself was all we needed. A place to cook small meals, shower and sleep. Only the basics were provided. I would have liked to have more blankets than the thin one on the bed but it was ok. Shower head was terrible but as expected I suppose. It was either a gentle rain or one heavy stream. Overall, it was a nice place but not what we wanted. We wanted to be within walking distance of the Mayo Clinic as advertised.

It states that it is within walking distance of Mayo Clinic. It is not. This is important information for patients. Especially one that is legally blind and cannot drive. I sent a message to them when I got there and realized with no reply. Very beautiful property and otherwise excellent stay.
