Stayed Aug 8, 2024We spent a couple of days in Zell am See during the summer. Generally everything was fine and according to the listing. The only thing was the disturbing tran which was really close to us, and disturbed our stay during day and night.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment is incredibly spacious, clean, and boasts a fantastic location, providing a delightful view of the lake and mountains. It's convenient position allows for pleasant daily walks along the lakefront and easy access to Zell am See's center. To enhance its appeal and create a warmer atmosphere, the apartment would greatly benefit from some redecoration. Additionally, basic maintenance tasks, such as fixing the toilet roll holder, need attention. We encountered difficulty with the microwave, and the absence of instructions for the appliances did not make it easier. The TV is outdated and better suited as a computer monitor due to its size. It's worth noting that arriving on a bank holiday in Zell am See makes it challenging to purchase even essential items, so it would be beneficial if the accommodation offered welcome packs. Lastly, it's important to mention that the nearby railway creates regular noise from passing trains, which may bother some individuals. Overall, Villa Julia is an acceptable apartment with significant potential for improvement.
