Lake Side Room at The Copper Trout.

Great stay. Perfect location, very close to town, but a couple blocks away from downtown chaos. Clean and quiet.

We stayed in the Bayfield area and really only had to use the car to go to the State Parks in the area. All the restaurants, local beaches, grocery store, and shops are all with in easy walking distance.

Awesome location, quiet property, cool air conditioning, easy walk all around downtown Bayfield. My stay at The Copper Trout was just what I was looking for on a solo get-away.

The room was as advertised but we probably killed 20 - 30 flies in the room.

This is a 2 star lodging situation.

Furniture a bit old. Bed not very comfortable. Location handy for walking to shops. A bit spendy for what they offered.

A nice, quiet, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Would book again.

The owner was very courteous. The room is in a good area, safe and easy to walk to downtown area. We enjoyed our visit.

Check in was easy. We had the lakeside room which I thought would have lake view but didn’t, however it was on back of house so quieter from street noise. Cute place!

Beautiful little place on the corner across from Rittenhouse Inn. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Super clean. Everything is walkable. Gorgeous rental inside and out, and great communication with the host, whom even allowed us to check in early!

The property was exactly as listed. Location is excellent. Host replied promptly to inquiries. My spouse & I would definitely stay there again; and highly recommend it .

We stayed one night on a longer road trip. The location is great, walked to everything. Parking on premise, perfect. Room is clean and comfortable. Nice place

Stayed one night, which was terrible. Tried canceling a second night and got so frustrated, decided to cut my losses and move on.

Instructions for checking in were not very clear. Called property owner, he called back with very condescending tone about how to get lock box open. Refrigerator wasn’t even plugged in; the hotspot on my phone was strong then WiFi. There was a group of people in the backyard having a bonfire and were very loud, when I reached out to owner, he never responded. 1-Star property at best.

Nice room, but a mouse woke us in the middle of the night, and we found a plastic bag that it had chewed on (it also spent time in the garbage can). Also, loud neighbors next door, on the deck of a rental- had to have our window open, so hard to avoid the noise.

Clean room with good amount of space and private bathroom located right down from stores and bars in town. Parking and check in were easy. Host responded to a request of ours very quickly and accommodated our needs. We stayed during Applefest which was a really fun time to be in Bayfield. We would definitely stay here again!

Mike was very accommodating and attentive. The room was clean, well appointed and in the perfect location. We had a great time and couldn’t have been happier! I highly recommend this host and location.

Very nice and convenient to the cruise

It was a great room- had everything you needed! Not a lot of bells and whistles- but it was a quiet space, comfortable bed, and nicely done bathroom! Close to shops and restaurants in downtown Bayfield! You can’t go wrong!
