Lake Life!

The property was perfect. The hot was great and hot. I definitely enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the fire pit. Herb was a great host. He responds very quickly. We will definitely be going back. I recommend going!

The host is fantastic! It’s a perfect getaway spot for a couple with great views and privacy. We will be back!

Outdoor space is beautiful.

Pool was not heated , but the description said it was. A heated pool was our deciding factor to select the location so that was very disappointing. The room was smaller than most hotel rooms which was also a surprise as the pictures made it seem much larger. Sound carried very well from people upstairs so at 7:30am there was no chance of sleeping in. It wasn’t a bad stay but definitely wasn’t what we had planned for.

The view cannot be expressed in words. Even though we went when it was cold, it was absolutely beautiful. It’s like waking up and being in the most peaceful place you could imagine. Everything inside and outside is exactly as pictured. The comfort all-around is a 10/10. We will definitely be returning!

Very nice place for our Labor Day on the lake. Boat lift was nice for protecting our boat. Dock was clean and had a nice set up. Pool and Hot tub were enjoyed bunches and perfect for a romantic weekend for us. View is pretty as it gets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the host were great, very accommodating. Certainly will stay here as much as we can.

My experience: Terrible. The property: As advertised. We arrived on our check in date around 8 pm after a long drive only to find that the host was hosting guests upstairs for a party and had completely forgotten that we were checking in. The bed was not made, trash cans were overflowing and personal items from a previous guests were left in the bathroom. We messaged the host several times to avoid having to go knock on the door but received no response. Once we went up and knocked on the door, we realized that both hosts were very intoxicated. Amidst their intoxication, they promised to give us a full refund and to pay for the hotel that we had to get that night. While they did refund us part of the stay, the taxes and cleaning fees were not refunded and they refused to pay for the hotel like they promised. The worst part about the stay was not the mistake that was made but the way we were attacked when trying to collect what they promised. Things ended with me being accused of black mail...We did nothing wrong... We will not be coming back. People show their true colors when mistakes happen, the hosts handled the situation very poorly.

A lovely place, closer to the places we wanted to visit like Chattanooga etc but not directly in town. The place was neat, access to pool and paddle board was nice, definitely a nice place for someone who likes to fish as well.

If you haven’t stayed here yet, what are you waiting for? This place is so beautiful and quiet. The check in/check out process was easy. My hosts were very attentive to make sure my stay was great. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

Feels like you are a million miles away from everything. Lovely lake views, gorgeous pool, relaxing hot tub. Comfy and cosy. The room has everything you need and more! Lovely and spacious outside, parking space, large bed swing, firepit, dock right on the lake. We had so much privacy. The neighborhood was safe and peaceful. Herby was very responsive and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay! quiet.

Visiting Rudy Falls for my husband's birthday. This was a beautiful place to relax after a long day. The hot tub and couch swing were my favorite.

The unit had a great view of the mountains and the hot tub had a really nice set up. Herby was super easy to talk to for any needs that we had.

We had a wonderful time! The location is stunning! We particularly enjoyed having breakfast down by the lake and relaxing in the hot tub! One suggestion we have is to make the entrance more visible or direct us toward the back of the house on check in instructions. Also, the fire pit would lite but would not stay lit. The property was very clean and had all the amenities that made our stay incredibly relaxing. We had plans to spend time in Chattanooga but spent some time relaxing at our rental home. The hot tube was very much needed for both my wife and I. It was too cold for the pool and the lake was dried out during this time of year or we would have enjoyed spending time on the water, as well. The host was very flexible with us and accommodated our stay to change dates last minute due to unexpected circumstances on our end. We had a wonderful time staying at Herby’s!!

Host was great with communication. Location is amazing. We enjoyed our weekend and would love to come back when the weather is warmer so we can enjoy the lake.

Property was immaculate, so much fun to enjoy the lake, kayaking around, and the opportunity for the hot tub/pool. The room was clean and had everything needed/wanted. The bed was bery comfortable and fit my large frame that's 6'3.

My daughter and I stayed on our way home from a family reunion just for a nice break before heading home. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay with a wonderful host.

We were looking and found the perfect spot for newby empty nesters. This property was perfect for two (plus our little dog). It is small but we dont need much. The view is amazing!
