Stayed Jun 30, 2024La Vie est Belle Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The main living room and two of the bedrooms are really lovely, spacious and bright. The other two twin bedrooms are one above the other with low ceilings and no windows - the bottom room has a curtain instead of a door and the top one is essentially a cupboard reached by a steep ladder (seen in the photos). Luckily my adult brother was fine to sleep in the top room by himself, but two adults would struggle for space and it wouldn't be safe for children younger than 12 due to the height of the ladder and difficulty opening the door. There was no storage space for toiletries, bags, food, toys etc. as there were a lot of ornaments and decorative objects all over the place, so we had to rearrange things to fit anything in the kitchen. All that aside, we did have a really lovely stay in Ax les Thermes and highly recommend the area, and the apartment as long as the bedrooms work for the group staying.
