La Prairie by Interhome

La Prairie was a short walk from downtown. I would recommend a taxi to get from the train station (if you have a lot of luggage) but everything in Zermatt is walkable when not hauling luggage. The views were amazing and the place was everything we had hoped for our weekend of skiing. We plan on coming back during the summer and sure hope this place is available again. Thank you!

Beautiful condo with stunning views. A hit of a walk to get to the heart of town, but we didn’t mind. Great for 2-3 people.

Apartamento lejos del centro (20 minutos) y cuesta arriba. No hay ningún comercio cerca, por lo que hay que comprar en el centro y subirlo andando o en taxi, que cuesta 26CHF por trayecto. No tiene lavadora de ropa, de manera que hay que llevar la colada al centro y luego subirla. Poco práctico para una estancia de turismo.

Wohnung praktisch und einfach eingerichtet, ruhig, Bergbahnen in der Nähe, für Skifans die den ganzen Tag auf der Piste sind bestens geeignet. Kaffeemaschine müsste mal erneuert werden!

Schöne und gemütliche Ferienwohnung in etwas erhöhter Lage. Top Aussicht zum Matterhorn. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung gerne weiter.

Literie excellente, propreté 100%, Nous ne nous attendions pas à avoir une si belle vue sur le Cervin !!!

My husband and I spent 3 days of a Christmas holiday at La Prairie. The view of the Matterhorn is as good as advertised and the walk to the town center is reasonable. The place is very clean and uncluttered and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. Interhome also made it pretty easy to check-in at a late hour. The only small complaints we had were these: Even with the thermostat turned off the place was too warm to sleep and we had to leave the window open. The shower had good water pressure but it does not actually have any of the massage features we saw advertised in the photos. The checklist of things to do when leaving (take out trash, strip linens, wash and put away dishes) seemed like asking a bit too much considering the high cleaning and laundry fees we had to pay. All in all I would still recommend this place to vacationers.
