La Pequeña Flat, Unbeatable Fishtown Location! FastWiFi, W/D, Private Roof Deck

We stayed 11 days in La Pequeña. The host Alberto is very friendly and attentive. He responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. If you like to cook and will be spending a lot of time there, the kitchen may be a little small and uncomfortable, and there is no table to eat comfortably. The terrace is large and sunny, and we loved having breakfast there. The apartment has many stairs. La pequeña has very good transport connections. The Berks station is a 5-minute walk away and takes you to the city center. There is also a bus that goes to Temple University. We felt safe in Fischtown. We had Nice time in La pequeña!

Location is great, parking is a challenge due where the place is located and is no fault of the owner. I just needed somewhere to stay for a show i was traveling for and this served that purpose as I didn't spent too much time in the room itself. The balcony is a really nice little spot to read and have a drink. My only complaint is pretty minor, I have a bad back and the bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, but others might not mind as much. Owner got back to me within 30 minutes whenever I had questions.

This little space is what we needed for our quick stay in Philly. If you don't like skinny stairways, this isn't for you. Alberto is a great host with excellent communication.

Great location. Functional space. Furniture set up was different than showed and a little wonky.

I've never left a bad review before this but I would strongly advise NOT staying here. Upon arrival there was a very strong chemical smell which continued even after opening doors and windows. We left for dinner and noticed both of us were coughing which we thought was odd. When we returned and tried to sleep and the coughing became really bad and we were even noticing some discomfort taking deep breaths. At 5:30am we could not take it any longer and had to inconvenience a friend to come to their place nearby. There was an air purificator on full blast when we arrived indicating the owner was previously aware of the situation.

Parking was challenging.

The pictures do not quite match the space. The couch in the living room is not actually a couch. It was very very uncomfortable as was the bed. It felt like it was a futon mattress and that is just too hard of a mattress for a vast majority of people. Not a great choice for a rental considering all types of people come to stay.The apartment was really cute but there was way too much furniture for how small the space is. The location was fantastic though and the patio was nice. The host was mostly responsive. There was a gas leak in the unit and it was deeply concerning. You would think the cleaning crew/person might notice and tell the host before new guests arrive but alas. This was honestly one of my lesser awesome experiences at a VRBO.

This sweet apt had everything we needed for our Fishtown getaway. Alberto thinks of everything right down to the bottles of soap and shampoo in the shower. Lovely deck in the back was an added bonus space. The remodeling done in this classic Philly row home is classy and tasteful. Our dog felt right at home as well. Great to have nearby places/ parks to walk dogs. Also, Alberto is super responsive. The wine bottle opener was broken, and within an hour there was a new one in the mailbox. Comfy bed. Super clean upon our arrival.

This place was small and nothing fancy, but I found it extremely cozy and I really enjoyed it. It was also perfect for the money. Location was prime as well. Very safe.

The host was very communicative with easy to understand instructions with clearly laid out expectations and guidelines. That level of detail carried into the stay itself and reflected in the space. It was clean, as documented, and a great value. The amenities were just right and for the price I would definitely stay again! Thanks to the host!

The host was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Amenities were as described. Furniture in living room not as described or pictured - it was 2 single beds stacked perpendicularly, difficult to sit and watch TV. Otherwise the apartment was comfortable. Description should include narrow steep staircase to 2nd floor apartment.

Host was very detailed with check-in/check-out instructions. Bed was comfortable. Shower was the perfect temperature. The overall space was fantastic. Will book again when I’m in Philly.

We stayed here as a weekend getaway with our daughter who goes to Temple. The description of this place is correct , parking can be a bit tricky, visual instructions for access and Internet were excellent and any other information required, the owners were spot on for responding. This was the first time we ventured into Fishtown, so enjoy walking around the neighborhood and explore. I would highly recommend this place.

Very cute little space at a convenient location in Philly. We were able to visit lots of local spots nearby! Mostly clean and cozy vibes. The balcony was very much enjoyable for going outside and chatting:)

Very nice place and a very nice location. The communication with the host was excellent. There are great food options within a few block radius. Short Lyft ride to The Met, where we went, as well as other Philly spots. Bustling and safe neighborhood, and dog friendly. Great spot for couples visiting Philly!

La Paquena was the perfect hide away in the middle of lovely Fishtown. Clean, private and easily accessed. I would recommend this spot and stay again in a heartbeat. Communication with the host was always timely and helpful and the listing couldn't be more accurate. We loved La Paquena!

just what we wanted and expected

It comes with some bonuses like the brita filter in the fridge, the appliances are nice and its a cozy place for 1-2 people.

Perfect spot for a one night stay and close to a lot of restaurants and bars. We had a great stay!

The property was in a really cool and upcoming part of Philly. The host Alberto was very nice communicative and helpful. Place was small but 100% worth it for a weekend trip!

It's a very nice small apartment. It's very close to everything that we needed. Parking is interesting but not too bad once you get the hang of it. I'd recommend getting there before 3:00 if possible just for parking. But the later it gets the more spots get filled up.
