Stayed Dec 31, 1969Nice 3rd floor apartment facing the Decorah main shopping street. Close to restaurants, shops and multiple coffee. There is a steep stairway to the apartment.

Stayed Nov 7, 2025Host was very responsive. Extremely easy check-in/check-out. Quiet, simple and right in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. The stairs are very narrow and steep but there are handles and small landings on each floor that make it easier to navigate. Parking is in the alley behind the building but it was a very short walk to the main door. It was clean and perfect for a short stay.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025I enjoyed the quiet and the beautiful view of Decorah including the bluffs. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable, but the kitchen was missing dish cloths and towels. Parking in the back was not ideal, but I was happy to have a parking spot. I needed to stay an extra night which Nika made easy to do. The overall price if my stay was reasonable.

Stayed Jun 14, 2025Room was as described and situated in the heart of town with restaurants and shops steps away. A disappointment was that we sent a request three days prior to our stay to see if we could check in a little earlier than 4:00 but never heard back. The room was clean with the exception of a dirty shower curtain and unfortunately the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Great place to stay while in Decorah. We could walk to Pulpit Rock and out to dinner. Stairs are steep so keep that in mind!

Stayed Sep 26, 2023Such a great location in downtown Decorah. Will stay here again when visiting the Vesterheim museum and taking classes.
