Driftless Loft in the heart of Downtown Decorah, IA

The Driftless loft was wonderful! It is so spacious , clean and the beds were very comfortable. Samantha and Dan are great hosts! The location is perfect. Downtown Decorah and close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen space was great also! And everything there that we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Very nice loft. Very responsive hosts. Lots of stairs which the owners disclosed, not a problem for us but could be for some. The loft has great views from all windows and the deck. Everything you need is there. I would definitely stay there again!

The Driftless Loft is clean, comfortable, affordable, and close to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, and Luther College. This was our second time staying in the loft. It exceeded our expectations both times!

So enjoyed the deck and the Thursday night concert from the Courthouse lawn. My Vesterheim Rosemulding class was enjoyable along with tours of Vesterheim.

This is a nice place to stay in downtown Decorah. It offers more space, comfort and quaint character than a hotel room, along with a deck to sit out on and enjoy a view of the town from above. Overall, we were glad we stayed here. Two things to mention:1. Missed spots cleaning- in both bedrooms the bed headboards and side tables were very dusty, like they had not been touched in ages. I dusted them all. A bit of a turn-off, right? Everything else looked clean enough. 2. On our last morning there, at 9:00 a.m. came a knock at the door and a man entered calling out “Hello, anyone here?” (The cleaner.) Checkout is not until 11:00 a.m. He said he thought he saw that our parking spot was empty so thought he would enter. (Our truck was still parked there, and we were still here.)A misunderstanding, no harm done. Overall, these are minor issues, but step it up for a great review! Thank you for a nice stay in Decorah; it’s a great town.

Beautiful place, super clean, all amenities needed, we loved the deck outside! The space is so open and wonderfully decorated. Would recommend to all!!

The Driftless Loft was everything we could have hoped for! The location was perfect for downtown wandering and the loft was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the back patio as well. We will definitely stay again!

The Loft’s location is perfect - quiet side street and within walking distance of everything Decorah! The loft is a very clean, open floor plan and cozy space! The view from the west windows and porch are awesome!

The property was as described. Clean, great location. The owners were timely at answering any questions we had. We had a wonderful long weekend and would definitely stay here again!
