Stayed Jun 8, 2026The property is a hotel room. The room I stayed in was the only room with an electronic lock. All other rooms were key locks, and I'm assuming office checkin was required to enter those rooms. This was totally false advertising in my view i.e., listed as an apartment when it was clearly an hotel room. The sign for the establishment included 'Hotel'. This vrbo pricing was probably higher than the cost associated with other rooms, and, it required an option to pay a security deposit or purchase a liability option. I stay at vrbo's often and this was my first experience where the location was a hotel room - really a motel room. I could stayed at a Best Western or Motel 6 for less and not be required to pay for liability insurance. I will never opt to select this host again. I did call the vrbo service desk and did not receive satisfaction upon explaining the situation. Very disappointing.
