Stayed Sep 5, 2024Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this totally equipped Apartment. Close to all the big attractions. Napoli, Mt Vesuvius, Pompeii, Positano, etc. A Rental Car was perfect. There’s a Public Parking Garage across the street from the apartment. What a luxury to pull in and have your car safely parked until you need it. They even gave us a discount for a weeks stay. Attendants were awesome. Our host was kind, attentive and informative. Cold AC, comfy bed, great shower. Rosse’s Pizza across the street, Ke Burger And Mr Kabob. All within waking distance. OMG ! We Love this place and hopefully will be back some day. Thank you !!! ,

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The best apartment we have stayed in. Owners went out of their way to help us . The apartment is spacious with all the extras we could need , the rooms are large well decorated and updated. Single apartment in an historic building located near the train station, shops and restaurants. An easy trip to Pompeii, Amalfi Coast , Herculaneum or Naples. The City of Castellammare is beautiful on the sea , a pleasant location for your holiday.

Stayed Sep 23, 2018The train station and cable car are right across the street. Ferry service to Capri is nearby, as well as markets and restaurants. The promenade is a few streets over and very nice to walk day and night. Catello is very helpful with suggestions on things to do and see in the area, like Villa Arianna and Villa San Marco. The apartment is modern and clean with everything needed if you choose to cook. Paid parking is right across the street and is safe and convenient,10 euros a day. Thank you Catello for such a pleasant stay.

Stayed May 30, 2018The apartment is superbly located close to the station and a short walk from the sea front, shops and restaurants. The traffic can be quite noisy, but closing the window and switching on the air conditioning solves that. Catello is really friendly and provided us with some good suggestions for places to visit as well as eat and drink. Will almost certainly visit this area again and would not hesitate to book the apartment.

Stayed Apr 22, 2018A spacious flat, tastefully decorated, with everything provided for a comfortable stay. Situated in a busy street, but noise is subdued when the window is closed. We stayed 16 nights and only on the night of a public holiday were we aware of excessive street noise. We slept well every other night. The flat is 2 mins. from the station and funicular, and all kind of shops, restaurants, etc. are in the immediate vicinity, as is the tree-planted promenade with a view of Vesuvius. Castellammare is not a pretty town, but is an authentic working town with few tourists. It is lively in the evenings and perfectly safe. From this town we visited Pompeii, Ercolano, Vesuvius, Naples, Paestum, Sorrento, Amalfi, Atrani, Salerno, Vietri, Oplontis, Boscoreale and the two villas of Stabiae. We also walked to the summit of Monte Faito, then down to Vico Equense. Breathtaking views. From Sorrento we took buses and walked to various villages in the Sorrentine Peninsula. We could have taken the ferry to Capri, but decided to stay on Capri next year. We enjoyed returning to the flat each evening, either to eat there or to dine out. Ristorante Bistrot da Gaetano was our favourite restaurant. Excellent quality, very friendly service. Catello was very helpful and available had we needed advice. We enjoyed the local wine he left! We are very glad we chose this accommodation.

Stayed Mar 11, 2018I am super picky about where I stay and this apartment was fantastic. It is spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is located on a fun busy street, yet with the window closed it is silent inside. I assumed that street noise would wake me up in the morning so I didn't set an alarm - mistake! I had no idea the day had started as it was so quiet inside. We got great advice about getting around from Katella - he is so helpful and always available. Castellamare di Stabia is a great untouristy town and the apartment is perfectly located. The train station is right down the street from the apartment, so we were able to visit Pompeii, Capri and other places very easily. The waterfront is two blocks away - not a sandy beach where you would swim (although locals were paddleboarding in the water) but has a lovely boardwalk. We cooked dinners in the apartment as there are wonderful little grocers all around. If you have a car, the cinema parking lot is right out the door of the apartment and you can leave the car overnight. Definitely visit Villa Ariana and Villa San Marco while you are there - they are like Pompeii but with more access and not as ruined - but be forewarned they are difficult to find down random streets. We were expecting big signs that pointed the way and we missed the entrances and had to ask around. Still totally worth the effort. If I had to come up with one downside it would be that the apartment doesn't have a dishwasher. I got my husband to wash the dishes so that worked out ok for me. Also, don't judge the apartment by the walk up which is dingy. I learned that in Italy all of the outer aspects of an apartment building don't tell you anything about what you will find inside. This was an absolutely wonderful experience! We highly, highly recommend this apartment!
