Stayed Aug 9, 2024My wife and I cam to Savannah for a long weekend and always wanted to stay in one of the historical homes/properties on Jones St. We found this little one bedroom apartment and thought it would be perfect. For the most part, the apartment description and pictures seen online were accurate. It is very small footage-wise, but has been renovated, looks modern, and gives off a charming feel. The hosts are also very responsive if you have any questions. Keep in mind, this building is over 150 years old so get accustomed to musty smells and unlevel floors. As for minor drawbacks, the front door key pad can seem finicky, until you get the hang of it. Also, the A/C unit in the bedroom leaks and needs HVAC attention. If you decide to use it, be prepared for the bed, sheets, and pillows to get wet. Unfortunately, not having it can make for warm and semi-uncomfortable sleeping conditions during the hot summer months. All in all, the apartment is in a great location, close to everything from squares and restaurants, to shops and historical landmarks. My wife and I enjoyed are experience and can now say we stayed on Jones St.
