Lovely Place at Port Fairy very Central to the main area beautiful views right outside and not far to Warrnambool if you wanted to do abit more shopping. Very quiet we had a very relaxing time. Beautiful bedrooms each with their own bathroom.

Great position, lovely property, few minor housekeeping problems like missing light globe, not enough dishwasher tablets and no replacement rubbish bags

Great property in perfect location. Firm beds which we like. Kitchen well equipped but no oven trays? No WiFi which was a surprise. BYO water absolutely essential. Walked everywhere, parking easy for two cars but September (probably a different story in peak season) Listing didn't mention washing machine but there is one. Lots of steps, bedrooms all have nice outlook. The view to boardwalk lovely. Outdoor setting very comfortable. Hope this is useful to others.

Overall the property was lovely, beautifully set up and nothing left to chance. However I do have a couple of observations - the tap water was pretty well undrinkable and a warning notice to guests beforehand would have been much appreciated, allowing us to bring bulk water with us. Realise of course water quality is beyond your control. Secondly you might like to review your floor cleaning - all around the edges and in the corners of the lowest bathroom there were grimy black deposits, obviously missed by the mop but able to removed because I scratched at them - not a good look for you but I feel if you don't tell people it's broken they don't know to fix it ;) Flickering downlight in kitchen too.

It was lovely staying on the river. My husband grew up in that area so we know it very well. The house exactly suited our needs.

Very comfortable with a lovely view of the boats right outside. Only suggestion is to provide spare rubbish bags for under the sink. We had to empty the bins into boxes to take outside. Also some extra cloths to wipe up spills on the kitchen floor. Otherwise everything was perfect and we had a fabulous stay.

Great location with beautiful views and walking distance to everything. Spacious bedrooms all with ensuite. Attention to detail with plenty of cutlery, crockery, glassware, etc. would happily visit again.

My family and I stayed here for a week and half. The property was clean and well organized. We had a toddler with us. The property does have a lot of stairs so keep that in mind if you're booking for someone who this might affect. The property had everything we needed. The only thing was there was no air-conditioning in the top floor bedroom, which became the warmest on most days. The blinds were not amazing either, making it a light night's sleep in the summer time. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Close proximity to the centre of town as well as the pier, other walkways and the eastern beach.

Spacious, bright, clean, very comfortable and well equipped property for three couples. Quality bedding and linen. Each with our own ensuite. We fully utilized the excellent kitchen and bbq. Very relaxing 4 days soaking up the fantastic indoor and outdoor space this property has to offer. Relaxing on the deck overlooking The Moyne river. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, Griffiths Island and beaches. Loved our dinner at The Merrijig and the pizza from Coffin Sally excellent. Breakfast at The Farmers Wife a must. Recommend a very worthwhile 10 minute drive west of Port Fairy to The Crags, for spectacular coastline and views to Lady Julia Percy Island. As nonsmokers we would like to suggest that smoking which is disallowed indoors be the same for the outdoor decks. On the first day, we couldn't open the doors to the deck to enjoy the fresh air or comfortably sit outside due to smokers on the deck right beside us. This would be the only sticking point to re booking this fabulous property.
