The Space

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom short-term rental spans the entire north side of the main home’s second floor, offering privacy and peaceful surroundings.

The McCormick House has served many purposes over the last 150 years and is now a beautifully preserved 6-unit historic apartment building. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared outdoor spaces, including the full-width front porch overlooking the river and the rear patio.

Four units in the home are available for nightly stays, each sleeping up to four guests—making this an excellent option for weddings, family reunions, work travel, festivals, and group stays in Bay City.

Additional cleaning fees may be charged if the property is left in a condition requiring significantly more time or labor than a standard turnover.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Excessive trash or debris beyond normal use
Food, spills, or stains requiring intensive cleaning
Strong odors (including smoke)
Unapproved late checkout causing cleaning delays
Unwashed dishes requiring extensive time
Pet-related mess or damage (if applicable)
Additional Charges:
If excessive cleaning is required, charges will be requested through the platform after checkout and may include:
Additional labor time
Extra laundry loads
Specialized cleaning services
Damage Policy:
Guests are responsible for any damage, missing items, or excessive wear beyond normal use. Charges will be processed through the platform resolution system.
