Island Escape for Two, Class and Comfort

It would be great if toilet will be cleaned in the middle of the stay when linen are changed. It is not convenient and not customer friendly to turn off A/C each day when you leave the property and turn it on upon return as it is getting too hot in the cottage and it takes too long to cool the place to be comfortable at night.

The owners Alison and Juan are amazing and so friendly! They left a book of recommendations, restaurants and other things to do. The atmosphere and surroundings are amazing and mostly secluded! I highly recommend this cottage!

The space was perfect. Everything you could need. Clean, quiet with gorgeous views. Exactly what i was looking for!! I will definitely return next year!

Nice one bedroom unit Attentive hosts

This cottage is charming, comfortable and nicely located for the Coral Bay area and going to Maho Bay and Francis Bay beaches. The kitchen is well equipped and is perfect for making breakfasts and lunches. The view from the deck (and the bed) is amazing. The roads to the cottage are fun to drive as long as you're comfortable with keeping left and amazing hairpin turns – You MUST have a rental car! We would most definitely stay there again if visiting St. John.

Overall amazing house and very impressive how all amenities are taken care of within relatively small space ! Directions to reach home was perfect as explained by the hosts. The house gives you a feel of a luxurious tree house. Great views of Coral Bay, especially at sun rise! Make sure to read the instructions diary provided by the hosts, they are very helpful and gives all directions to nearby stores and restaurants ! The house has all basic amenities including all new appliances and very cozy bed. Its also very close to all main beaches (10-15 min drive) and main hiking trails. Few callouts for consideration: * Driving: The house is 25 mins from Cruz Bay landing, so you may want to account for that. Also not sure how accessible it is to taxis as we had a rental car. You may want to research on that front if you intend to use one. Also note that the last 3-4 minutes of drive is very steep. Would highly recommend to reach home first time during daylight. * Trash: This wasn’t mentioned in the welcome email, but instructions diary mentioned to dispose the trash at the checkout. We would have liked the property manager to take care of it as part of cleaning services, but felt a bit odd. Another challenge was to find a place to dispose the trash. On the island, there are large garbage collection units placed every 4-5 miles. We had to find one on our drive back to ferry. A little more instructions around nearest area to dispose trash would have been good.

This is an excellent location overlooking Coral Bay and wihin a short distance to many great beaches that are away from the crowds.

This was a perfect place to stay. Location was wonderful. The cottage was romantic. Alison thought of every detail. We had things we didnt know we beeded.

This was a perfect spot. Easy to get to, great location, quiet neighborhood & fantastic view! Had everything we needed down to beach chairs & beach towels. Lots of info & recommendations provided by Alison.

We loved our stay here near Coral Bay. The view was incredible and the space was perfect for the two of us. It was the most convenient that the owners provided Beach chairs, towels, a cooler, and floaties for us to use at the beaches each day. The home was clean and we enjoyed using the tv in the evenings after exploring all day. Highly recommend!

my husband and I had a fabulous time at this little rental. It was just perfect for us. Located in beautiful coral Bay, very quiet, with a gorgeous view in a nice residential area, just big enough for us to to be cozy and have a fabulous time. Quiet at night, but so easy to get to all the beautiful beaches and coral Bay has a few nice food optionwe are already booked for next year!

Alison sent information about the cottage as soon as we booked. It was nice having all the info up front. The cottage is beautiful in decor and the view looking down over Coral Bay is amazing. Alison stopped by shortly after we arrived to make sure we were all set. The cottage seemed to have everything you could possibly need. Especially appreciated the beach chairs and there were a few refreshments in the fridge. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable cottage. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Alison was wonderful and very good with communication. The cottage has everything you need for a great vacation. Highly recommended!!

We totally messed up our dates when we first reserved our stay. Alison was very helpful, easy to communicate with and corrected the dates. The house was charming and had everything we needed. Also Alison and Juan helped us out with changing a flat tire! Amazing!

We really enjoyed the Seahorse & Turtle cottage.The interior is adorable and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. There were generously many condiments, coffee, etc provided upon arrival which was unexpected but great to get started! The outdoor spaces are also lovely with of the mountains on one side and Coral Bay from the other. We loved not having any stairs to navigate with luggage or groceries so that was a plus. Also, having never visited St John before we feel we were very well located to enjoy many of the hiking trails as well as the beautiful North Shore beaches. Location,location,location! Allison and Juan were both delightful and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!!
